We picked this hotel primarily for its location as it's in the city centre and very close to my daughters university accommodation. Our room was clean and tidy and had everything except a fridge and any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet so we had a few good nights sleep. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food but the location is in the heart of the city and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. I also liked that there was a little desk beside the reception with extra milk, teabags etc so you could grab some extra if you needed them throughout the day.

I went to Liverpool specifically to watch a Liverpool game. If there is a chance next time, I will still choose this hotel. The attitude is very good and very enthusiastic! And it's very close to Liverpool Lime Station, take a train from London to Liverpool, you can see the hotel as soon as you get out of the train station, and it's only a 2-minute walk to arrive! And it's right in the city center, basically everything you need can be met on foot. If you want to go to Anfield, you can get there by taking No. 17 at the bus stop coming out of the hotel. If you travel to Liverpool, it is recommended that you live here.

Really nice experience, receptionist amazing told us everything we needed to know. Changing rooms, pool and spa area not the biggest, but nice and relaxing and overall a lovely experience. We didn’t have any treatments only the jacuzzi and afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was amazing, I’m gluten free it was definitely the best I’ve had anywhere. As soon as we arrived for afternoon tea VIctor looked after us, made our experience wonderful, Thankyou to the staff for giving me and my mum the best day.

It has potential, as a hostel, but as I paid for an ”individual apartment” I didn't like it. I received, about 15 days before I left, that the YHA, which I had booked, had changed ownership, but that NOTHING WOULD CHANGE IN THE RESERVATION. I arrived at 3:00 PM, coming from a long trip from Edinburgh, with a stop and a walk in Newcastle, with the plan of arriving at the ”hotel”, taking a shower and going out to explore the city. To my surprise, check-in was only at 4:00 PM. In other words, what was stipulated when I made my reservation had already changed (YHA)... And I had to wait in a kind of reception/snack bar on site. When I mentioned it to a boy at reception, he even ironically replied, ”only at 4, sorry”! I also had a setback because I was unable to print proof of payment on the card, which I later received by email. Anyway, the apartment is even good for a hostel/hotel (I stayed alone). However, the night is a hell of a noise. And make no mistake, the music that plays on the ”iconic Beatles street”, and that can be heard from the room, is of the worst quality, in addition to the shouting ”typical of bar areas” in a medium/large city. Finally, and without me knowing, the reception/snack bar closes from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and you have to enter through a strange door at the back of the establishment. And, if that wasn't enough, when I left, at around 6:30 AM, the ”hall in front of that door” was a legitimate urinal. Anyway, when I saw that it had changed ownership, and received notification from Booking, I ended up not changing hotels. But I should have done that, as it really felt more like a ”casual bar” that hosts on the upper floors, than a hotel; I knew it was also a hostel, but as I paid ”the price of a hotel for an individual apartment”, I would have preferred to have stayed somewhere more professional and even courteous... Okay, I'd read the previous reviews and was a little concerned about our booking and it was too late to cancel, so we just went with it. There were 5 of us in our party and we booked a triple room and a double room. We first went into the bar and immediately welcomed by the locals and bar staff, all very friendly. We then checked in a few doors down, lots of stairs but that didn't bother us. Easy check in and all secure with key cars access. We had rooms 28 and 29 and they were perfect. Good sized rooms, very modern decor with en suite shower rooms. Clean and tidy, tea coffee biscuits, views over the adelphi and city. No complaints whatsoever from us. Just a little nod to management, maybe a mirror and waste bin for the rooms possibly needed. All in all, it was a great stay, excellent location and good value for money. We would definitely stay again. We also used the multi storey car park opposite and left it in there overnight and it cost less than £10.
