We easily found the Coach and Horses, parking and check-in were very straightforward. The location is a very pleasant village with a rural feel, but it is in very easy reach of main roads and Severn Crossings. We could see the tops of one of the bridges from our room, as well as rolling hills and fields. The room was very clean, plenty of hot water for the shower, and a good size TV. The bar was quite busy but you couldn't hear it all at all in the room. They also serve excellent local beers. The cooked breakfast was excellent. We cannot comment on the evening meal as they weren't serving in the night we arrived.

Popped in for lunch. We both had the chicken curry, Tikka and Madras. Both very tasty. We had chips and rice with it and a poppadom. Very efficient polite service. Hot food. Also had a lager each. Good choice of drinks on tap. Very enjoyable experience. Would recommend.

All the staff were really friendly , especially the lady who was doing the housekeeping, she was the sweetest lady I’ve ever met … it was roasting , and while I was waiting for a cab she even brought me out bottles of water …

The steak meal was very nice but the chips weren't very nice. Less chips and better quality potatoes would improve the meal tremendously. I remember when they used to serve home made chips which were lovely.
