The New White Lion
"Myself and my wife booked this hotel at the last minute, We absolutely loved this hotel and would highly recommend Mark and Karen are amazing hosts and give you just that little bit extra, the finer things are a lovely touch including the honesty bar and fresh milk. Llandovery is such a pretty place and quiet We will definitely be returning in the future. Chris and Sally"
The King’s Head
"We booked it through ***********, we filtered a hotel with parking, when we turned up it was a pub without parking, totally false advertising, we walked in it smelt of pee, there were wires running across the top of the stairs, the room was damp, the curtains were tied up knots due to condensation. They took our money before we could see the room, avoid this place at all costs. I sent them an email and didn’t even have the common courtesy to reply, we didn’t stay, we went down the road to a proper hotel and business. If I could have marked The Kings Head Inn Llandovery a minus I would have, really poor"
The Drovers Bed and Breakfast
"We planned a short walking break in the area and booked to stay three nights at Drovers from Monday to Thursday. However due to the inclement weather forecast we contacted Mike to find out if we could change our dates. He was most accomodating and everything worked out perfectly for us and we were able to do all the walks we had planned. The property is charming with private secure parking and Mike and Jill are great hosts, their attention to detail is fabulous. Our room overlooking the garden was lovely, very comfortable with good bed linen and good quality towels. The choice at breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked with good quality local produce. Llandovery is a very nice place to stay with a good choice of places to eat in the evening and some very nice small individual shops, the local museum is also interesting to visit and shows off the local history perfectly. Thank you Mike and Jill for a very nice stay."
Merlin Cottages
"Peace and quiet in beautiful Carmarthenshire. Stayed in High Barn part of three dwellings available to rent. Clean and quaint. Wonderful start and finish to the day sitting outside watching the Swifts and Kites. With occasional sheep bleet breaking the silence...... Perfect place to relax - digital detox."
