New Loretta Hotel

So, where to begin... The food was plentiful, hot and tasty with varied menu, super fast friendly service. Our room 310 was cold with no heating on and needed updating, basic, but with clean bedding and fluffy white towels. Comfortable beds. Not a pleasant outlook, however, but that's not the hotels fault. There were 3 bus trips in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment good Bingo and male singer, enjoyed the singalong.

Food was lovely but please be aware if your on the second sitting for the evening meal you have no chance of getting a seat for the evening entertainment because the first sitting snap them all up , try standing your ground and say 1st sitting please

On arrival at the New Loretta Hotel, we hadn't even checked in and were asked our dinner preference, suggest a form given and returned later? The allocated room bathroom flooring which was lifting and as my friend has sight problems was dangerous. Reception were informed and we were offered another room, this one had a cracked window sealed with Sellotape, the lady on reception told us we can't give everyone a nice room" not an acceptable comment. We were then offered another room, where we found a torn curtain, very dirty bath screen and the shot water tap cover was missing and corroded. The coffee/tea cups weren't washed or changed, and the ladies toilet in reception wasn't cleaned from the Friday to the Sunday evening , then only after a compliant. The beds were clean and comfortable and the staff and food were nice, but hotel not to the standard as advertised. A disappointing stay when it was much needed and anticipated. The bus driver was excellent too.
