So, where to begin... The food was plentiful, hot and tasty with varied menu, super fast friendly service. Our room 310 was cold with no heating on and needed updating, basic, but with clean bedding and fluffy white towels. Comfortable beds. Not a pleasant outlook, however, but that's not the hotels fault. There were 3 bus trips in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment good Bingo and male singer, enjoyed the singalong.

Would give the food 7/10,room was clean and fresh. Shower cubicle was tiny and silicone was black with mould, staff very friendly and polite. Overall Would rate this hotel 8/10.Handy for the shops and other amenities.

Requested an accessible room however this was not allocated. Flooring was uneven and haphazard and a huge trip risk. Stairs everywhere so this hotel isn’t recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Very poor breakfast selection. Evening meals weren’t much better. Mediocre entertainment with badly laid out seating arrangements. Only warm coffee I had was served at the bar. This is too basic/budget for me and I wouldn’t recommend or return here. Please do your homework before booking this hotel.

Staff exceptional couldn't do any more for you. We originally had a room quite high up my wife doesn't like lifts and they moved us to a lower floor. It was a warm weekend and we asked for a fan and one was brought to our room. Breakfast was lovely a buffet affair. With the way they placed the coffee and cereal it meant a little weird queuing. Tea was a 3 course and you chose what you wanted at breakfast I really enjoyed each course and again the staff were so friendly. The room was large as we got a family room as with all hotels of this age and size they continually try to improve and paint etc. I would highly recommend the hotel and the trip with Caledonia we got 4 free drinks each per night and entertainment was good. We were not far from the pier and town centre (weather spoons hehehe). Just a tip for those on Caledonia the trip to port merion was so good but you could stay at any of the hotels offered and pay as an optional excursion.

Not suitable for people with restricted mobility. Floors uneven, I was on floor 2, great there is a lift - but then have to walk down six steps! Restaurant very haphazard, coffee at entrance for breakfast, so you have to collect cup and saucer from your allocated table and go back to get coffee - although a pot of tea placed on table! Rooms small and only a basic clean, mirror was filthy. Staff friendly. Lack of comfortable seating in the lounge . Would not return

Rooms very small,in need of a lick of paint no air con , very old fashioned and dated. Food served was awful, no choice.Some restaurant staff need customer care training, they dont have the right attitude. All we got all weekend was its not my job or i dont know,when we asked for information. Wouldn't stay here again.

Just back from a 3 day trip to Llandudno,staying at the new Loretta hotel,well positioned for promenade and town centre,our room,207,was spacious and comfortable,food was fine,bar prices were reasonable,we had a drinks package for 4 drinks per day,with entertainment each night,which was enjoyable,would recommend a stay here

Good points. Single room 112 front view, double windows that open. Single bed, was comfortable, pillows medium, good. Sink in the room with the only mirror above it. Shower and loo separate. Hanging space + dressing table with drawers + hairdryer. Tea & coffee tray. Clean with fitted carpet. Nice tv. This room is above the entertainment lounge. 5 minutes to the sea or shops. Staff all nice. Would return. Not so good points. No tea or coffee with the evening meal unless you made it yourself if someone remembered to assemble it out in the hallway. Meals were average with exception of the salad, more than enough 😋 No steak pie or fish & chips on our weekend menu. Morning chef refused to make poached egg twice.
