The hotel is set back, nice and quite plus parking is free The staff are really friendly, helpful and courteous. No cooked breakfast onsite but cafe Raz is a 10 minute walk great value for money"

"Very underwhelming stay! Had booked 2 double bed rooms but there was a stark difference between the two. The lighting was very poor in one room and the rooms exceptionally old. Definitely not worth the price I paid. I think staying in Travelodge or Premier Inn would have been a much better alternative"

"The hotel is well situated but unfortunately the room was absolutely stifling hot to the point it was almost unbearable. We were lucky to secure a fan from reception but when we turned it on the guard fell off, it could have been a disaster 😬. We were told it was the last fan available so felt sorry for anyone who may have been left without one. The radiator in the bathroom was boiling hot and could not be switched off which made the heat situation worse. The cleanliness was not the best. There was dried blood on the bathroom bin 🤢 and a strange blue mark in the bathtub. Reception seemed friendly enough but the £100 deposit on arrival seems a little excessive considering the room was very dated and a little grubby. I have stayed in many places and never had to put a deposit down before. Would I stay here again? Unless it was the middle of winter and I got a very good price probably not."
