Sportsmans Lodge Bed and Breakfast

Spent one night here on a family visit to Anglesey. It's a former pub (?), now a B&B. The room was very dated but spotlesslessly clean and we slept well in comfortable beds. A nice welcome touch was fresh coffee made by the host, on arrival after a long drive. Breakfast was served to order and was very good. It's a little remote location wise but it ticked the boxes for us & happy to recommend.

We visited the Sportsmans Lodge in July for a four night stay. We were welcomed by our hosts Heather and Bob . After a long drive a pot of tea and biscuits were most welcome. We stayed in the Carnegie Room which was well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a comfy bed and a good side bathroom. Breakfast was varied from cereals and juice to a jam packed cooked breakfast cooked to your requirements and size, and was delicious. Our hosts were friendly and attentive and at breakfast Bob would enquire about your day and offer advice on your travels around the island including places to eat. Sportsman Lodge is in a quiet hamlet and a relaxing place to be and only about three miles or so from the coast down calm and traffic free country lanes. The location was perfect and the hosts lovely and the perfect place to stay in order to recharge your batteries.
