Excellent site! Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. We stayed on the grass electric pitch which had great views, especially at sundown! All facilities were immaculately clean and tidy and the site was peaceful throughout our stay. Plenty to see and do in this beautiful area.

À very warm welcome off the owners. Very clean facilities. Close to the town centre, which is down the hill, but yet you are still in the heart of the beautiful countryside. Best of both worlds. Some lovely walks to keep you fit and healthy. A castle is situated futher up the hill. Something for everyone.

This family run campsite is lovely, well maintained and staff are pleasant and helpful. Plenty of space between vehicles on the EHU grass pitches and non EHU can pitch anywhere, it seems. Toilets, showers, wash up and laundry (tokens) all available and all very clean. As others have said, it is a climb on the walk back from town and dark in places, so take a torch or wear something reflective if returning late at night. If you are going to events at the Pavillion, a taxi will cost you about £7 (we used Premier). Best to pre-book especially if the weather isn’t pleasant. It’ll take you about 25 mins to walk back, via the towpath. The town itself is lovely; only a couple of gift shops that we saw and plenty of places to eat and drink and people watch, should you choose.

My son has been coming here a number of years, this year I decided to come with him(dad) it is a beautiful picturesque place with spotlessly clean amenities. Claire and her family are very welcoming and friendly. A bonus for us is that dogs must stay on a lead and no radios allowed, which made our stay very enjoyable, would definitely recommend for anyone who likes the countryside.

This is a great campsite situated in a quiet, scenic part of Llangollen. The site is spacious with various areas to camp and it is well kept with lovely grassed areas. The views from the site are relaxing and there are lots to do in the area from the the canal to the river and nearby attractions The family who run the site are friendly, helpful and attentive. We have been here several times and will definitely be coming back.

Avoid in a large unit as approach is extremely narrow, quite expensive for what it is and then extra if you want a shower. It is a working farm so very noisy. Gravel hard standing, nice views from the grass field. Hard standing pitches quite close together

First time here and what a find, site is well looked after very clean and very peaceful, we had a campervan but they also have camping as well, there is a hill to Llangollen, it looks steep driving up, but if you are OK walking it is not at all that bad we walked there and back, 7 min to Llangollen 11 min back, and we are definitely not fit, and it was somewhat an achievement, would walk it every day,

Just finishing our trip to this lovely campsite. On arrival we were met by the very lovely Claire and Helen. Who couldn't of been more helpful during our stay. The site is clean and well kept with toilets and 2 showers per ladies and gents block. The showers are 20p for 5-7 mins approximately. And are clean and warm. They have a shower curtain to separate the shower from the getting dry area. The money slot is outside the shower so I'd recommend getting everything ready first and donning a towel to put your money in as the showers come on immediately. The park itself is picturesque but hilly so take some parking ramps if in a van. (They do accept conversions) There is a dog walking field and small climbing frame for the children. The path up to the site is very steep from the centre, but not terribly far. You'd have to be reasonably fit to walk it home. Taxis were very busy on the Saturday as the town was very busy. Its hard to find a dog friendly taxi so we ended up taking the van then drinking on our return. (It's about a 5 min clear drive.) Parking a van is tricky if it's busy. The spaces in town are quite snug. Leave early if you have to arrive for a specific time. Overall our stay though has been lovely and relaxing. The site is very quiet and peaceful and Claire does not tolerate any antisocial behaviour. This is not somewhere to come with a large gang wanting to get smashed and play music. It's definitely somewhere to come if you want peace and quiet and to unwind from all the hustle, bustle and problems at home. We are already talking about coming next month if they'll have us. Absolutely recommended this site.
