"A superb boutique hotel situated on the lakeside with stunning view of the volcano. It is well positioned for access to the Volcano and others attractions in the area. The bustling town of Puerto Varas with plenty of shops and restaurants is easily accessible (you will need a car or taxi to get there) but you don't need to as the hotel has a very good restaurant and bar. The staff are extremely polite and helpful with good English language ability for those of us who struggle with Spanish. Room (space/bathroom/bed/fittings) was excellent. We had a 3 night stay and to be honest we really didn't want to leave. Well done AWA. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again"

"Stayed for 2 nights as part of a tour. The room was large on 1st floor with partial view of lake. The room was hot so had to open only window directly above bed. The room was very dark with only 2 weak bedside lights and a small wall light in corner; as a result my husband cut his finger as so dark just had to rummage when unpacking. The breakfast by Chilean standards was average. The hotel is on edge of town with an uphill 15 minute walk."

"My family and I went to visit Puerto varas last week. It is a beautiful and picturesque town. But, we had a very bad experience at this hotel. We were told to leave all our bags and belongings while we were going to visit the town. We were told by the driver of the tour to leave everything since it was a safe and tranquil place. We were not able to check in at the hotel as the driver recommended. It was for our sad and upsetting surprise that $800 were taken from our book bags. Nobody gave us an answer after we had called the tour company, the driver and the hotel. In summery, DO NOT TRUST ANYBODY AT THIS HOTEL!! And I will recommend to stay in another place. There are many more pretty, clean and trustworthy hotel in the town. I don’t recommend. Be careful !! "

"I visit this place for one night, at arrival the rrom was different from the ones I viewed on the web, pictures, at night when doing the check out and paying as where suppossed to get out early next day , I was ask to include the tip into the value of my room rate...¿¿¿¿¿ In all the countries I have been I never has been asked for something like that...also when asking for something for breakfast next morning they told me that the breakfast begginns at 9 am.....yes not early that that, we left at 7_20 AM with out even a cup of tea......., the place was clean and neat but will not go again unless I need to"
