We had our dream wedding at Monachyle Mhor and it was everything we could have imagined. The views, the people, the food, and the atmosphere were absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything felt magical. Tom, the owner, made us feel so welcome and at home. The servers, Leanora (hope we’re spelling that correctly) and Keir, were so amazing. They were kind, attentive, and charming. Every little detail was taken care of with such care and warmth. We truly wouldn’t have changed a single thing. It was the most incredible experience, and we’re forever grateful to the Monachyle Mhor team for making our dream day a reality. We were looked after so so well by Lottie and the team at Mhor. Thank you so much for hosting our wee work retreat. The venue in itself is very special. The approach through woods on the lochside road is beautiful, and the drive up to the front of the hotel impresses, and tells you all you need to know about the experience you are about to have. Fresh cream scones with jam, jam first or cream, your choice! Delicious coffee, teas and fresh scottish spring water. Comfortable spaces, warm fires. And a delicious lunch of fresh carrot and ginger soup, and sourdough sandwiches. Probably the best bit though is the team - Kier and his colleagues looked after us like royalty. You cant beat it. The perfect location for a few days away from the office with the team. The Monachyle team were amazing to deal with, helping us plan our stay and looking after us so well whilst we were there. Accommodation, food, drinks and service were all of the highest standard.

Charming, intriguing, secluded, peaceful. Ideal for walkers, swimmers, and those who want to sit and allow the peace of the Trossachs to wash over them. I have been visiting Monachyle since the 1980s and still find it wonderful. Staff are an eclectic mix, wonderful food and excellent wine list.
