"The location was perfect for us splitting our journey the lady in reception was very helpful. The only criticism is the shower only had the'rainfall' option, no handheld device, not so good of you don't want to get hair wet. Every thing else was great."

"Honest hotel. Warm welcome, free upgrade as they were quiet. Good room, comfy bed. Huge bathroom with Roll Top Bath and sep Shower. Could do with some hooks for towels but hey for 1 night it's fine. Bar area very welcoming with log fire lit, dinner just as good as we remembered and breakfast again cooked to order. Pots of coffee not someone wandering around with a jug and fresh water as part of the juice line up. We find all the staff including Glen the owner very personable. It's location works for us."

"My trip , was disrupted before we even arrived at the hotel, we contacted Alison at the Village In to advise her we would be much later than expected and have to leave earlier than expected the next day. She was extremely accommodating and whent out of her way to assist and provide a very pleasant stay. I would definitely return next time I'm in the area."

"In our search for an overnight stop on our journey to and from the Highlands we chose the Hightae Inn, and are delighted we did. The warm welcome of the log fire, the hot coffee and delicious cake, in the cosy lounge, were only exceeded by the friendly greeting from Morag (and a brief glimpse of husband, Mark). Our room (No.1) was very comfortable, with quality bed linen - very peaceful. Both evening suppers we enjoyed, were delicious, using the best ingredients and prepared freshly and with care. The breakfast was also excellent, particularly the home-made bread. Thank you, Morag. We will recommend you to our friends. If we are ever in the area again we will surely try to return!"
