"There are rather limited options in this charming town for a place to rest your head. The Saturn House Hotel really needs a great deal of investment. It’s scruffy though the rooms are ok. The staff were rather under pressure when we arrived to check in. Not extra warm welcome, more this is what you get so get on with it. Total lack of signs anywhere and you could wander around without ever discovering where to go. Breakfast was fine and efficient if not exactly a wide choice."

"They are all girls who love to be clean. It’s good, the world cannot exist without girls. It’s just that it’s hard to find it when it’s dark. The train was delayed for the first time and I couldn’t find the way late at night. Google Navigation ****** me and went around to the other side. There was also a little fox with green eyes. It was the only one at night. Just the green eyes are dazzling, and the hair on the hair is standing on end. The next day I discovered that the road next to it was a cemetery. It's quite scary. It's easy to find at dawn."

"Pease do not book this hotel I booked for NYE In September and paid my deposit as was required to secure the booking on New Years Eve...Understandable I was contacted several weeks ago to explain they did not have the type of room i had booked and would have to downgrade me Quite why it took so long i have no idea The prices had doubled not too long before this mmmm i wonder Just this week i was then told due to a boiler which could not be fixed with still 2 weeks to go My booking was cancelled,, No offer of help just sorry find somewhere else Did the guests who paid the extra have their bookings cancelled i wonder Absolutely disgraceful customer service We are now left out in the cold unable to meet a group of 12 friends we had arranged to meet 3 MONTHS AGO SHOCKING AVOID AVOID AVOID"

"Having stayed at the hotel on Saturday 4th, we came in from a lovely evening to lots of barking & yelping from a clearly very distressed dog that had been left alone in the next room. This went on for an hour before I went downstairs at 12 midnight to be told by Kaz behind the bar that she knew who’s dog it was & she would let them know. The owners did come upstairs & after a few raised voice & choice words the barking stopped. However the music in the bar continued until past 1am. This resulted in a very poor nights sleep. The next morning I went downstairs to a very aggressive Kaz who shouted at me & point blankly refused any apology or refund, the chef also came out & said the policy was to allow dogs to be left unattended in the room. Could not believe that this is actually acceptable. We can’t tell you what breakfast was like, even though we had paid for it as we walked out. Please avoid this hotel & maybe Kaz needs some training in customer service"

"It's quite clean. The bathroom is clean too. But it's troublesome to wash your hair because the hair dryer is at the front desk. If you use it in the room, it will disturb others. If you use it outside the room, it's not very convenient for people of the opposite sex to stay (the two rooms are very close to each other). (It would be better if the hair dryer was installed in the bathroom) But it's close to the train station, suitable for backpackers on the road, who don't need to wash their hair if they stay for one night"

"A traditional spot in the English countryside. A key feature is the fantastic view from the houses; on a clear evening, enjoying a beer there is pure bliss. It's also a great place for stargazing at night, with a wide-open vista. Other aspects were standard, a traditional inn. The food was decent; we had dinner—a large portion of lasagna, very filling. We skipped breakfast. The highlight here is the view from the open space in front of the house; I'll definitely have a beer there next time. It was too cold and windy this time."
