We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Our room (#105) had ants and a toilet flusher that kept falling off the wall. The bed was foam and comfortable enough, though the pillows were polyester and not great. The air-conditioning was quiet and efficient. The room was in need of a refresh. Breakfast was great, with many options. We had dinner one night and the sea bream was frightfully expensive (€81), though excellent. Most of the staff do not speak English well, though they are polite, so sometimes your requests don’t translate correctly. The beach was small, though swimmable.

The Don Diego is a comfortable older luxury resort-style hotel in a unique amazing location overlooking Isolotto Rosso. Rooms are all located in the hillside around the hotel building housing the reception, lounges, excellent restaurant, and pool. Rooms are large with most balconies facing the wonderful view, well furnished, and air-conditioned. Good range of options for breakfast in the restaurant. Lovely small uncrowded beach directly beside the hotel.

We loved our 2 week holiday to the fabulous ‘Hotel Don Diego’. The setting is stunning, staff are welcoming, friendly and go beyond expectations. Rooms were charmingly ‘quirky’, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Food was amazing - both breakfast and evening meals. Great variety using fresh products. The kayaks were great to have available and the powerboat (bookable via reception)- with a 4 hour hire we did Tavolara, Molara (stopped for a snorkel in the natural pool which was phenomenal) and along the coast to Brandinchi and finished with a swim at LaCinta. We enjoyed having a hire car to do a bit of visiting of the area. We were sad to leave and will certainly be back!

the hotel is very charming with a rustic vibe. the aircon in the rooms worked well and the wifi is good. the beds were slightly uncomfortable- especially the pillows. the pool area was nice. the free use of usp and pedalos is a nice touch. the beach itself is not so nice. the breakfast was quite nice and the pastries were fresh as well as fresh orange juice. the dinner in the restaurant was also very good.

We have been there for 7 days for vacation. After coming to the hotel the receptionist explained to us everything that we needed and more- they gave us recommendations for the trip, what we can do and where we can go. The hotel is located in a great place, and you can rent a boat (have to pay), paddle, kayak (for free) if you want to go visit some places by yourself. Also you can stay on the beach or private pool where we have been still in quiet and you can enjoy your holiday. Also the food has been awesome. Breakfast was included and during the day you can buy Lunch on the pool (12-14:30) or take a small brunch till 18:30 and dinner from 20:00. We don't usually go back to the same place, but I think that we will go back soon. I really recommending this hotel. Thank you

The hotel is set in a beautiful location, with a private beach, great pool area and attentive and friendly staff. There are some things I would change to make it a full 5/5 which are totally adjustable by the hotel management.

This hotel is beautiful, the amenities and nearby beaches were convenient. And the view is jaw dropping . However the biggest downside are the rooms . We had a junior suite overlooking tavolera but despite being a 4 star hotel the bed was very uncomfortable, you can legit feel the bed springs. The room was so outdated. Felt like an 80’s hostel. Was not expecting this given what we payed for and the rest of the hotels amenities really don’t show this at all. The breakfast was delicious and dinner was just ok. Staff where however beyond curtious and friendly.
