We loved our two days’ stay at this charming summer hotel in such beautiful surroundings. It’s a perfect starting point for mountain hiking. Numerous mountain tops nearby, splendid view from the top. Comfortable beds, quiet surroundings, good atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Sauna coming up will make it easier to go swimming on the hotel beach:).

Our stay was beyond expectations, as it felt like we went back in time a century, just to have some time to relax and enjoy the tranquil views! We stayed at Sommerhotellet after completing the Besseggen hike and enjoyed every moment of it! We woke up to chef-level breakfast which was prepared to perfection alongside classical music and a beautiful view! After enjoying breakfast, we were welcomed into the Sauna which is located right on the hotel's private shore. We couldn't have asked for anything more! What an amazing place!
