The room was nice & clean

Absolutely amazing place to stay, easy to just hop on a bus to the tube station to find the main tourist places to go. Staff are friendly and will do anything they can to accommodate you. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Friendly without being intrusive and central

The hotel is quite old. There is no elevator. If you have any luggage, you have to carry it upstairs. The room is very small. The street is very noisy. The hygiene is acceptable. There is wifi.

Great experience

Very clean and super friendly staff . The room was lovely and spacious plus had a wardrobe . The bed was super comfy and we had a big bathroom , bath towels and hand towels provided , also shower gel , shampoo and hand wash . I will definitely be back again after fantastic stay

It was wonderful experience and the hotel was same as pictures nice and tidy. Staff was super helpful as well. Easy check-in process. Would definitely suggest this place comes into budget as well. Easy transportation around the hotel as well.

I stayed at the Windmill for 9 nights. The hotel itself was very clean and well cared for. The room, though small was perfect for my needs. All the amenities in the room worked well. Breakfast served daily in the lounge had a variety of offerings, something for everyone, The location was great - close to both the tube and buses. Last but definitely not least was Christine - she was very helpful with any questions I had and suggested sights to see and how to get there. She was very welcoming to all her guests and made sure everyone was comfortable and well looked after. Christine is a true treasure and the best asset for The Windmill

Nice welcome on arrival parked car very easy and had a nice room on the back of the building with a comfortable bed and room very quiet and clean great location for all public transport pity bar wasn’t open but plenty of other pubs locally to go too

A ten minute walk from the tube station, Quick and easy check in, the staff are very friendly and did offer me breakfast which is only £6, but I had to leave early. The room itself was small, but it is what is expected. I had book a single room, though there was a double bed instead of a single,.which was great. Bathroom was very clean and stocked with shower gel and shampoo. I also had a kettle and tea/coffee. There was no Aircon but a.fan, which worked fine. After 11pm the pub shut and it is very quiet outside.

Friendly owners but very very outdated room ,badly needing refurbishment. Shower door hanging off runner,mirror light in bathroom not working,bed surprisingly comfortable mind ,window wouldn't shut properly could hear people walking past below.

Bed was comfy, room and bathroom were clean and shower was spot on, basic but what we needed for a few nights when exploring London and watching rugby. Quieter than most hotels where you normally can hear people in other rooms/ fire doors slamming etc. . The bar is gorgeous with so many cute details. What stood out for us though is the host she was unbelievably good, so accommodating and nothing is too much. You can tell she is working hard to make this hotel even better. Would happily stay again.

The building from outside is fantastic, inside is just as good very stylish the lady that runs the house. Is a true professional very positive attitude nothing is to much trouble for her very smilley and super friendly. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced the music is also great. Room was clean and warm comfortable. BREAKFAST was good lots of choice and great coffee six pounds great value. Definitely return as the place has a great atmosphere..I wish the lady and her family great success in the future..
