Premier Inn London Hackney

Enjoyed our stay at Premier Inn, London Hackney. Value for money for a three night stay. Very comfortable bed, great sleep. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and professional staff. Would really recommend,

I’ve stayed in many premier inns but never one as bad as this one. Booked in for a nights stay on the 2nd March 24. Checking in was fine and we went up to the room. First thing we noticed was only 1 towel. When looking further around we noticed the place was really tired and some of it dirty. We think the room had been cleaned but was long overdue a refurb. See pics. The bathroom had sealant pealing off and it had gone black, the grout around the shower has all gone black and the skirting was filthy. The wood panel underneath the tv was coming off the wall and would probably have been unsafe if young children had been in the room, it would have been easy to put their hand down the back. We had the continental breakfast booked and it was so disappointing, very little was available and the mouldy fruit wasn’t removed until another resident complained. I can honestly say I will not be stopping at this hotel again.

Quite honestly I can’t understand how anyone could say that that there stay was amazing. The entrance was absolutely filthy. The guy on reception hardly even lifted his head when booking us in. The smell in the lobby’s were disgusting. It smelled of smoke which it couldn’t be so suspect damp. We weren’t expecting luxury just to be decent. We were in London for a family birthday and new that we wouldn’t be in the hotel that much but even so we booked out after one night. We tried to cancel the Sunday night and to be fair the girl in reception was nice and did try to help but couldn’t do anything. She gave us a number to call to try to cancel but it closed on Friday at 5pm and this was Saturday. Which quite honestly is ridiculous.

This Premier Inn has a hidden gem in the form of the chef, named Abdul. The standard Premier Inn Menu is in force here - but with Abdul's twist. The Prawn Cocktail was one of the tastiest I've ever eaten - the extra mile to make it delicious didn't go unnoticed - so much so I ordered it again on the second night's meal. A big thank you to Abdul. If you're reading this Premier Inn staff/management, Abdul deserves an award for always making the tastiest food to an impeccably high standard! Thank you!

The location for this hotel was very good according to where the concert was, however we faced problems with the room. The main problem that ruined the night for us was the heating in the room, as we could not turn the heat down at all and we couldn't get quality sleep, therefore having to sleep covered in used wet towels to try and cool us down during the night, which even that was too hot for. Very disappointed with this.

Unfortunately we were allocated a room with issues. Kettle and lamp not working and a missing shower door. To be fair, we were offered a different room the next day but every time we went to reception it was unmanned !

Very unfriendly manager. He was dismissive and miserable, which of course affected my overall feelings. Working in hospitality I was shocked at Mr's approach regarding my request. I found him to be unprofessional and quite frankly arrogant. Instead of friendly, we got terms and regulations based on his own ideas instead of the actual code of conduct for Premier Inn. Writing this is not for the purpose of the customers but more for the staff who are representing Premier Inn.

Not the best hotel but adequate. Rooms are small, tv is just ok, no service was provided the 3 days we were there. The one bright spot in the stay was Christina, who was always cheerful, helpful and gracious. She is certainly an asset to this hotel!

Amazing stay couldn’t fault anything all staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough no waiting time to be checked in Very comfy beds and quite hotel fab food and drink with it being unlimited and kids are free to eat
