Travelodge London Wood Green

The location may not be the best in terms of desirability, but for the price and close vicinity to Wood Green Underground, it is good value. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the supplies of tea/coffee were abundant. Although it is a busy area, and on the main street, my room was away from the front and it was very quiet in the room at night. It’s maybe not the best area for a lone female traveller; there were a couple of homeless drunks camped close to the door, but they were not threatening. It just made me feel a little unsettled. There are many late night restaurants nearby and although the hotel doesn’t provide cooked breakfasts, there are several cafes nearby. I would stay again.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel, great location, very clean and has friendly, helpful staff. I noticed some reviews mention the building works, well, we were aware of these after our first visit and still chose to return (twice), there was very little noise or disruption from these at all. Wood Green High Street is very busy, so the only advice I would offer is that if you're a light sleeper, I'd ask for a room that doesn't face onto the street as there is some traffic noise, however, that's outwith the control of the hotel and staff, most people would expect that a hotel on a busy street would have this issue.

This hotel was located well, parking was a bit confusing but staff explained it well and what to do, you do get free parking, no restaurant on site, but lots nearby as well as a shopping centre, tube station located 5 mins walk away and piccadilly line very accessible. staff were all great and friendly, and the room was clean, hotel doors were locked 24 hours which gave us great piece of mind

Do not let you partner go out alone, i am a man and got followed into the lift up to the 5th floor from some east european old man trying to bring me to drink with him

Great value hotel, 2 minutes walk from a Wetherspoons pub and 5-10 minutes from Wood Green tube station. There are numerous bus routes. The hotel is next to a small shopping centre with a Primark and cinema.
