Plaza London Hotel

The pillows were hard the quilt very thin and old the bedding was crisp and clean the blanket thin. I was cold. Ongoing building work and dust sheets on the stairs. (trip hazzard) damp patch on the ceiling, bathroom ok but needs finishing in places. Receptionist lady was very very nice and accomodating. Place looks shabby on the outside, but they are trying to improve it. No I won't stay there again.

I stayed for two nights in November for a London event I was attending on business, with a busy time in the city, not many options, so booked here at 100 quid a night. All I needed was a bed for the night and that is essentially what you get in your room...but after leaving I noticed bites all over my back and arms so clearly something undesirable in the bedrooms, I am guessing their sheets/beds have bed bugs all over. So not happy at all with the situation. The room was three flights of narrow stairs up, no lift, tiny room, shower was difficult to get in to with a sloped wall and shower door banging into the shower head because of way it's been fitted. I understand it's not a luxury hotel but for 100 quid a night it is very poor.

My daughter booked by accident on *********** I realised and cancelled with in 3 minutes yet the hotel still charged my £70.29. I offered to pay a small penalty for the mistake so they offered me a refund if £18!!!! Never use or trust this establishment

Worse hotel experience in my life, regardless of my status of a ********** GOLD MEMBER. My family of five was accommodated in a so-called "ground level" room (never disclosed in my ********** reservation). It was a BASEMENT, with tiny stairs access (see the pictures) with no ventilation, no window and mold smell presence that my asthmatic son started coughing immediately. The bathroom was outside the room, next to the stairs. The front desk could not change us to a livable room, that didn't represent a health risk issue, so we decided to leave and look for another hotel. After asking for a full refund to Adam, the manager, the response was that it was "disclosed" that our room was "ground level" and it was our option to leave (?!) offering me a 50% reimbursement (?!). The health risk in this place due to mold presence should be reviewed by the London Health Department, to which I will place a complaint. To date, I have not received my refund. Very frustrated to arrive to this hostel-like place and had to spend extra money to find another place to stay in the middle of our first time experience in London. ********** never reached out to me either, regardless my multiple attempts to get help.

Porsha is an absolute delight that works in the restaurant , for such a young age she is a gem !!! been here 2 weeks and she has been so welcoming just amazing , stay has been fab too highly recommend x

Not the greatest room for what it cost.

No cups for tea or coffee

Please do not book a room in hotel- we stayed here for one night in June- it was terrible for the following reasons: The room was in a basement- with no fire escape, which made us feel unsafe. The room smelled of stale cigarettes and was very warm with no windows. There was a plug socket that had its electrics exposed. The room was unclean, with used left over glasses with juice left in them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It is not in the best area and we didn’t feel safe walking back home. Overall the property was not acceptable. Staff were lovely, but the hotel was not - it is a health and safety nightmare.

Nice cheap end basic hotel ,bed a bit limpy but did sleep all night. Very friendly staff
