Hotels near National Trust - Ham House and Garden in London

The hotel is very new and the location is small, and the room is small. I have become accustomed to this kind of experience in London. The front desk was very enthusiastic to help solve the problem. Due to the itinerary change for four days, the room that was not canceled was immediately confirmed. It was also refunded under Ctrip communication. In a foreign country, both the hotel and Ctrip are as warm as winter.

I would like to give Sadaf a shout out for helping a very jet-legged mother during her son’s….wedding! I was incredibly sick for a few days am se happily helped me many! Times with navigation and explanations about London! Please know she is incredibly kind and patient and deserves the highest wages your company can shell out before someone else snaps up this dear gold nugget!!

Small room Not too clean Little to do

We stayed for one night only but we wished we stayed for more. This is an excellent hotel location with the tube for Ealing Broadway only 10 mins walk away. There are lots of retail shops and cafes (including Gail’s Bakery) only a short 5/10 walk down one road, so no getting lost. The hotel itself is new and it was nice to stay somewhere a little different to the normal hotels. There is a bonus of there being a car park underground which was £15 for 24 hours which was reasonable and they had electric car charging which was perfect for our journey back getting the car fully charged over night. We had a family room which felt quite big even though there were 2 adults and 2 children. It would have been fine for 4 adults. Beds were comfy and bathroom was lovely. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was continental style but there was always someone topping everything back up when needed. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at the Moxy London Heathrow airport hotel! The first time we ever had a short break away here was in 2012 and it was amazing. On arrival, we were checked in by a person who gave us wristbands and told us everything we needed to know about early park access, breakfast check in, times, and everything you needed to know. We also had access to the walk around the zebra and giraffe (and the other animals) enclosures after the park had closed. Which was amazing. This time around it was completely different. We had to check ourselves in, which also cost an additional £15 for room keys. (which you do have back once you check out) No one behind the counter had informed us that some things had changed, so we went about things like it was back in 2012. On the second day, the day we were supposed to be granted 1 hour early in the park the early access gate was closed and locked. We decided to try the main entrance and after fighting our way to the front of the main entrance and trying to explain to staff that our entrance was closed, we still had to argue with one of the staff members to gain access. By the time we got to someone who was willing to let us in they were letting the public in anyway. So we lost our early access. The park was amazing the staff there were lovely and the rides were great and we really did have a cracking day. At the end of the day when the park had closed, we decided to go back to the hotel and change so we could enjoy the walk among the zebras and other animals. But again, the gate was closed and locked. I went to ask a member of staff on the main desk what was going on and why the gate was locked both times we attempted to use it and was informed that they don't allow hotel guests to have that privilege anymore. I was very disheartened by all this and this probably could have been avoided if we were informed during check in like we were in 2012. I get that it may be easier for some people but why am I doing hotel receptions jobs for them by checking us all in and trying to scramble the Internet and my email inbox to try and find out information. Everything else is fantastic and I really do love this place. They just need to make more effort to inform people about their stay and not just lump us with 100's of emails and expect us to go through them all for one tiny piece of information they could have easily told us in person.

I find spa days odd if this is normal. Maybe this is a me thing. £70 to sip camomile tea in a not very warm room with the lights down (I could have murdered a coffee but they didn’t “do” coffee in the spa. Coming from a luxury hospitality background and it being a high-end hotel, I would have thought someone might have offered me one); the jacuzzi again was not all warm and nice so my muscles still wouldn’t relax and then there is a steam room with eucalyptus. The sauna is separated m/f so i didn’t bother because I went with a male friend and the point was to chat… we ended up having more tea. There is no swimming pool but there is a gym. Fair enough if you want that. My starters had no flavour at all. The main was nice and right for the moment and my Irish coffee was delicious. The building wowed me and everything is in very good condition. Staff are down to earth, smart and friendly. The set menu was worth doing. I don’t know how this competes with other hotels but had the spa been warmer I would certainly have been happier. I feel £70 for that part of the day is money for old rope. When I think about it we spent about £20 an hour to be in a nice building and have a £30 two course meal. I think that’s quite a lot. The spa could do with some personality, warmth, music… having tables cleared more often (it wasn’t busy)… something other than going room to room in a towling robe.

Came up for a Uni visit. Thoroughly recommend this Travelodge. Great night’s sleep and staff polite and helpful. Good location with pubs, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Room was clean, warm and the telly was big. Will be back!

We spent the last weekend at the hotel and we were delighted to had booked the hotel as the rooms were really clean and tidy the light system was very Cousy and relapsing the reception team were very kind and helpful, parking for our car was really good as well as it saved us from parking hassle. I highly recommend it to every one visiting LONDON.

I was very disappointed that the WIFI didn't work throughout my whole stay I did tell them the issue they did move my room but the room they moved me too had no WiFi either. As a proffesional trader Internet connection is needed especially when they stated before the room was booked that they do provide working WiFi.
