Great hotel for Gatwick. Handy having a nuffeild gym next door if you are a member, if not buy or download a day pass. Beds really comfy. Parking on site. Never tried the bars or restaurant.
I've stayed at a few Holiday Inns along the way, and the one in Cambridge didn't have air conditioning, which made me a bit nervous. But this one was fine; the AC worked great, though it wouldn't turn off unless you unplugged it 😂. The surrounding area seems to be a gathering place for people from the Middle East, which was a little unsettling 😓. The food around here is also predominantly Middle Eastern style. My son found a Japanese restaurant about 1.6 miles away, which was pretty good, just a bit of a walk. At breakfast, we ran into a group of Chinese middle school students on a study tour from Xi'an, which was quite interesting. The location is close to Eton College and Windsor Castle. Windsor Castle is definitely worth a visit.

## Accommodation
The hotel is quite large and very busy. The room size was decent, and it was cleaned daily. The sink in the bathroom is a bit on the small side, so water tends to splash out easily when washing your face. Shampoo, body wash, and hand soap were provided, but you'll need to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and slippers, which is common for many hotels in the UK. An electric kettle is available for boiling water. The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary bottled water, sparkling water, crisps, and chocolate biscuits; you can take them with you when you go out, and they're replenished daily. Check-out is by 12 PM, and luggage storage is available.
## Breakfast
The breakfast selection was quite varied, offering a full English breakfast. While the offerings were largely the same each day, there was enough variety to choose from.
## Transportation
Transportation is exceptionally convenient. Metro and bus stations are just a few minutes' walk away, making it easy to get to the city center, Heathrow Airport, and other locations. Shopping and dining options are plentiful nearby, with M&S, H&M, TK Maxx, McDonald's, and more within easy reach. Hyde Park and Imperial College London are also not too far away.
## Overall
Overall, it's a decent hotel. Being a global chain, you can generally count on consistent and reliable quality.
the staff was so nice and warm welcoming. the room and facilities are quite good but it looked old a little bit. after checking out, i left the luggage at the hotel to traveling in other places and came back to take my luggage in the evening — this is the best point that i love ❤️
There are two reasons for booking this hotel. First, it is close to Heathrow Airport and driving for half an hour. Second, the next morning, I will go to a big junk market next to Amoy. The hotel is in a good environment, just a few steps to the banks of the River Thames, parking is free, the room is quiet, breakfast is good.
Great location, bus stop right outside for quick and efficient buses to and from airport. Friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. Nice bar for a few drinks and food and also a great gym. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely hotel. Stayed here for business travel and it’s very nice. Clean, everything you need is in the room. Heating takes a while to warm up, but otherwise would stay here again. The food downstairs is also very nice and staff are friendly and provide a good service.
Despite not being disabled ourselves, we were given a disabled room which had obviously just been refurbished. The room was excellent, spacious and well appointed. We've never slept in such a large bed - it was wider than it was long!
The hotel is located close to the Tower of London. It's comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. However, the surrounding neighborhood is just average, and it's an area with a significant population of Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian residents.

1118453****I stayed here for a week during my visit to the UK. The location is superb – right next to the British Museum and UCL, and there's a fantastic shopping street nearby. I even chose to return to this hotel when I came back to London from another city, largely due to the exceptionally warm and attentive staff.
But the real highlight was encountering Christina at the front desk – a lovely young lady from Taiwan with a particularly pleasant speaking voice. My English is terrible – I jokingly said I barely knew the alphabet and usually communicated through charades or gestures. So, it was wonderful that Christina spoke perfect Chinese, of course! Hahahaha. She even patiently guided me on how to purchase train tickets – that was incredibly thoughtful of her! Absolutely perfect, and then some!
TThomas StefanWe stayed four nights as a couple over the weekend and had a great experience. Check-in and check-out were super quick and friendly. The hotel has a car park right below with direct access (managed separately, but easy to book online) and it’s close to public transport and Regent’s Park, which is lovely. Our room was clean and serviced daily, with very comfortable beds. Nice bonus: a Starbucks on the first floor, perfect for us since we usually just want a good coffee in the morning. Overall, fair pricing for solid quality – we’d definitely book again!

88285SueHThis was our second night at this hotel as we had enjoyed our visit so much we stayed longer than originally planned. All was good, as previously reviewed, except that on this occasion we had little sleep due to constant noise from outside the hotel which went on until it was almost morning. It was a Friday night though, so probably to be expected given the hotel’s location. We should have taken earplugs! We would certainly stay here again, but maybe not at the weekend.
GGuest UserMy room was upgraded and ready for me on arrival, it was very clean and there was also complementary water in my room.
The Holiday Inn staff were very accommodating and helpful in every way.
The breakfast was very fresh and served well with presentation.
I would book again with trip.com .

VVictoriaDDThe hotel is generally okay, but it doesn’t quite meet the standard of a four-star property. The facilities feel a bit outdated, and the room became too dry when the air conditioning was on overnight, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.
