We have decided to stay open to help those that are homeless and cant get home. If you have nowhere else to stay we will look after you and give you a free breakfast and dinner every day (max is 30 people per day for dinner).
Guests can stay with us if they live at Saint James Backpackers either:
• permanently or;
• as an interim abode whilst their primary residence is unavailable or;
• as a non-UK residents who is unable to travel to their country of residence.
You will be required to make the following declaration at check in: I attest and confirm that I am living in Saint James Backpackers as an interim abode whilst my primary residence is unavailable. If so we can take you in during these troubled times.
A family-run hostel set in the heart of central London, Saint James Backpackers is just 6 minutes’ walk from Earls Court Exhibition Centre. Combining original Victorian architecture with modern amenities, it has free Wi-Fi, two spacious dining areas, 24-hour reception and security.
Each room within Saint James Backpackers has a contemporary design and features individual lockers and towels for an additional price.
The large communal lounge, that features a 50-inch high definition TV, offers guests a chance to relax and unwind after a spot of sightseeing.
A continental breakfast is available for a surcharge all the guests. It includes fried eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fruit juices, tea and coffee, 4 types of breakfast cereals and toast with spreads.
Guests can also use the shared kitchen to cook meals outside of breakfast time. Complementary tea and coffee are available at any time.
Situated in Zone 1 on the underground map, Saint James’ is an 8-minute tube journey from Hyde Park, a 20-minute tube journey to the London Eye and also a 23-minute tube trip to London Bridge.
