New Road Hotel. Pocket room. Cozy, clean, quiet and great location in inner east London. Great facilities in communal areas. Hotel is perfect. Bar and restaurant didn’t both with as there is an abundance of better, independent cafes and restaurants all around. Will definitely stay again.

Very good and affordable hotel in London. Having close the Elisabeth line station is fast to reach both Canary Wharf and the city centre in 15min. The breakfast is a bit sparse but it's ok. The personnel is very nice and helpful.

I would not stay at this hotel again. Its price point suggests more than say for example a premier inn, but there was sadly nothing aside from the decor and smaller numbers of rooms that set it aside. Cooked breakfast was good but the buffet gave a poor selection, barista coffees were charged extra and there were no decaf options. Rooms were comfy, clean but very basic in terms of hanging space, toiletries, drinking water etc. Staff were often looking at their phones leading to a lack of approachability. Whitechapel offers handy location for a well connected tube and short walk to brick lane and spitalfields. We requested a quiet room but had a loud intermittent fan outside of our bedroom window and building work started next door at 7:30am.

Overall a decent option. Some rooms facing the street are more noisy at night but besides that a good & affordable option

The hotel environment is nice, with convenient transportation. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean and hygienic. The lighting is moderate, and the air conditioning is cool enough. (There's a window, so the sunlight is comfortable). I'm quite satisfied with the cleanliness. The mattress is firm but not sticky. The blankets are soft and comfortable against the skin. There are no unpleasant odors in the room. There's no dust on the table. Hot water comes quickly, and the water pressure is stable. The facilities are well-maintained.
