I would NOT recommend this place because it advertises itself as a “luxury Hilton hotel”, yet the service and experience was the same as Travelodge. I would even argue the Travelodge is better because you get everything in this Hilton hotel from less price. Regardless, here are my main issues:
Bad —
- The rooms are too cold and heating control did not work
- Fridge inside the cabinet did not work, even after meticulously plugging it in
- the cleaners tried to come in 4 hours BEFORE check out which is not a fun experience because I’m still in bed trying to sleep
- The sugar packets in the tray were soaked at the bottom for whatever reason
- Bad kettle design, the steam was scolding me when holding the handle to pour water (not necessarily the hotels fault, just bad designed product)
- really noisy in the corridor from 8:00 am from the cleaners
- slippers are way too small, no other size options
- pillow was leaking feathers
- all of the lights are not bright, even when they’re all on
- really strange bathroom door handle design, it might make you think you’ve broken the handle or something
Good—
- Friendly front of house staff
- spacious room (maybe because I chose the larger option)
