I recently stayed in the Assembly Leicester Square, that perfectly suited my needs for a short visit. The room was clean and simplistic, offering a cozy atmosphere that felt inviting right from the start. While it lacked some amenities like a kettle, fridge, or TV, I found this to be a non-issue. The space was ideal for anyone who just needs a comfortable place to sleep. In summary, if you're looking for a no-frills, tidy accommodation for a quick stay, this room is a fantastic choice. It embodies a charming simplicity that I truly appreciated during my visit. Staff were friendly and inviting.

From the moment we arrived at the Assembly we were made feel so welcome. All of the staff we met with went above and beyond to provide excellent service and I really appreciated it. The location is so central and it makes an ideal family friendly base for exploring London. We will definitely be back!

Great room in covent garden london; close to all the main attraction.

The hotel's location is impeccable. We arrived at the hotel at 8 o'clock in the morning and checked in our luggage first. There were 1-2 staff members at the counter on the first floor. They told me that we could only check in at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, but we could come and ask if we could check in after noon. We stayed for 6 nights in total, everything was fine, the room was exactly as shown in the pictures online, even bigger than expected, no TV and no fridge in the room but that's not a big deal. There is plenty of space to move around after opening two large suitcases. The bed is relatively small, so two larger people may not be able to sleep well. Although in a busy area, the room was very quiet. The room has a view of the London Eye. Breakfast is GBP 15 per person if paid at time of booking and GBP 22 per person if paid on site. The page showed that it cost 15 pounds to store luggage, but we were lucky that we were not charged before check-in or after check-out. After 11pm, you need to swipe your door card to enter the hotel, so there is no problem with security.

The location was the best. This was my first visit to London, so my goal was to visit the main tourist sites and restaurants in London. This hotel is right next to Trafalgar Square and close to SOHO and Chinatown (it's not an exaggeration to say it's in the middle of the city), so I was able to walk to almost anywhere. I could also walk to Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, the River Thames, and Big Ben. I was able to come back to the hotel and rest when I got tired, so I was able to sightsee quite easily. The hotel staff were also polite, and even though I arrived earlier than the check-in time, I was allowed into the room without any extra charge. After checking out, they kept my luggage for free, which was very helpful. There are no particular bad points, but if I had to say one thing, it would be that I was surprised that I could sometimes hear the sound of water from other rooms, that I could hear the sound of police cars once or twice a night (I think this is the same in all hotels), and that there was little storage space in the room. There is little storage space, but the window is like a counter, so you can put your luggage there or eat standing up if necessary. There are not many places to hang hangers, so it may not be suitable for those who are bringing a lot of clothes. The space is so spacious that you would only need a small amount of foot space if you spread out two suitcases for check-in. This hotel is perfect for those who are visiting London for the first time and want to enjoy sightseeing while saving on hotel costs, and who don't have that much luggage. The attached photo is of an alley just next to the hotel. There are many restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat - it was a great location. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It only takes 1 minute to get to the underground and you can walk to many tourist attractions. It is a cost-effective hotel.
