The hotel was good, just that the service was not that great. Rooms were okayish.

The hotel is a good location with good connection to Heathrow airport. The staff were helpful at all time.

London Excel was bit far from City Centre, but I knew it before booking. Hotel is very clean and very cooperative staff. My arrival was late after 14 hours flight. Restaurant they closed service, only available room service but gave me favour, very Thankful to MARCO

Absolutely disgusting, horrible/terrible, whatever words you can think of you can use use and describe it. This hotel, claimed to be a 4 star hotel but it's hygiene raises serious questions. The toilet sink is so dirty and smelly, and all surrounding has never been cleaned.
This hotel even allow dogs to sleep in the hotel rooms, this is really not for human to stay but for animals.
There is also a dog bowl next to the sofa.DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL.

Lovely modern, clean hotel. Staff were very friendly. Only a 3 - 4 minute walk to the cable car that takes you over to the O2.

I booked this hotel because they said they have sauna and steam. However, I did not give them the full mark because the sauna and steam was a joke. First of all, the whole floor was smelly with the steam and sauna rooms very cold. We went to the reception and reported. The staff at the reception came to the floor with us and she couldn't stay for one minute because the smell was really very bad. She apologised and said she'll get the cleaners to clean the whole floor and she'll come and notify us so that we can go and use the facilities. We waited for over four hours but the staff did not come so we went out. On our return, after our dinner, we went to the reception and complained to another staff as the original staff we spoke to wasn't there. In the end, the floor was cleaned and we're now ready to use the sauna and steam, they have put it on, they said. However, on getting there, one good thing was that the whole floor was no longer smelly but the steam room was not functional, it was very cold there. Now we left there and went to the sauna room and met three women sitting there very disappointed as we were. They said they have been pouring buckets of water to generate some heat from the sauna and the whole floor was full of water due to leak. What a joke! There was no heat coming from the sauna. We left very disappointed, it was my birthday and I was looking for a hotel with sauna and steam so I could chill out and relax on my birthday. Novotel did not make it to happen for me and I was sad and disappointed. I felt Novotel spoiled my birthday for me but I scored them 4 out of 5 because I'm not cruel.

Excellent location , comfortable bed and friendly helpful staff, the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, there is no cutlery, by the time you get them your food gets cold, you have to wait for everything and if you leave your table to get something from the buffet on your way back your table already cleared and the chair is taken, it's a complete chaos
