King's Cross Express Inn Reviews

The inn is located within a 5-minute walk from King's Cross Station. The room is clean, but small. I was assigned a room on ground level, located behind the reception area. You can hear the staff and other guests talking. In addition, you can hear the passing vehicles and pedestrians, especially in the middle of the night. There is a smart TV and WIFI connection is good. A good stay overall.

Convenient location very close to King’s Cross St Pancras station, nice restaurants nearby (McDonald’s and Burger King are nearby). Helpful staff (we check-in earlier and the staff helped to move our suitcases to the room), quick check-in, beverage bar in the check-in counter if u don’t want to go out to shop drinks, fragrance corridor, big, bright and new renovated family room with windows, hygiene bedding’s, smart TV, air-conditioning is good, shower is strong and comfortable, toilet flushing system is strong, toothbrushes are provided, big mirror, new power sockets and USB chargers for electronic appliances, new bath towels are given everyday! No elevator (this could be difficult for guests who are carrying big suitcase), WiFi is weak and not able to connect sometimes, Not enough desktop place, sound proof could be improved, welcome bottled water are only provided for 1 time and no more replenishment, room clean-up only in every 2 days, hair dryer is available upon request.

Great location and pretty solid amenities

Great little hidden gem in London. The room was compact but immaculate with an amazing shower/toiletries and facilities. The bed was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Perfect location for jumping on the tube to get around the city with a 5 minute walk to KC or St. Pancras stations. Staff were polite, attentive, and welcoming. Plus, the added bonus of luggage storage to continue exploring after checking out.

Had a lovely stay here, just one night short and sweet. Lovely accommodating staff ! Will be back

It's a small room for two. Hard to have luggage opened. Newly renovated, Very close to King's Cross Station. Very convenient to take train to Cambridge / Oxford and other towns

Wonderful location, near to King’s Cross station which is very convenient. And most importantly, the room is well-equipped with air-conditioning as well which is perfect.

Very small room and bathroom. Train noise and room without windows. Like a closed prison room.

The room is too narrow, and after putting the luggage, it is difficult to walk. The good thing is that the location is convenient, very close to the international train station and subway station. If you want to stay for a few days, it is not recommended, but if you are passing by and want to take the train, it is okay.

The service staff attitude is good, the hotel is very bright, clean and tidy, although the room is not large, but the basic facilities are acceptable. Comfortable stay because were very clean. The most important thing is that the lighting is enough. The bathroom has sensors as long as the bed automatically turns on the lights as soon as there is movement. This is commendable.

The sanitary conditions and facilities are very good, but the room service is in Indian English, which tests your listening skills. It's okay if there are no special circumstances. Ctrip customer service will help communicate in time if there are any problems.

The location of the hotel is relatively good, it can be reached in about 5 minutes from the subway station. But there is no clear sign outside the hotel that it is a hotel, only a thin round sign. The hotel room is so small that you can't even turn around in the toilet. In addition, the hotel almost did not clean and tidy up the room. We stayed for 4 days and only had room service for 1 day. We also have to ask for coffee and toilet paper. I wonder if most London hotels are like this. But we spent almost HKD 1,700 a night and received such service. There is really no chance of next time.

Although the room is small and well-equipped, it is really a bit too small. There is no place to open the suitcase. The suitcase needs to be opened on the bed. However, it looks like it has just been renovated. The location is also good. Maybe the room is in the corner of the basement, so it cannot be opened. Wi-Fi cannot be received even on my own network

The hotel is very close to Kingscross train station and is very convenient for living nearby. There are a variety of restaurants and supermarkets. If you need to stay one more night before traveling, it is a good choice. The Indian clerk at the front desk is very friendly to customers and the check-in experience is very pleasant. The hotel has no elevator and is not very friendly to customers with large suitcases. You can consider taking out the things you need from the suitcase first and then leaving the suitcase at the front desk. Electric perfume sprayers are placed on each floor of the hotel, which may be a bit too fragrant. The house space is crowded, and you fall on the bed as soon as you enter the house. But there is a lot of space under the bed, so you can take out the things in the bag and stuff the bag under the bed.
