Dear Manager of The Park Hotel, On September 8th, 2025, at approximately 8:30 AM, my husband and I checked out of the hotel and discovered we had left a small green handbag on the hook behind the door of Room 11. I immediately returned to the front desk within two minutes, but the staff member who handled check-out was not there. Three to five minutes later, the staff member returned through a door in the restaurant area (this can be verified via CCTV), which is the fastest route to my room. After informing them of the lost handbag, we went to Room 11 together to look for it, but the handbag was nowhere to be found. The bag contained my passport, £200 in cash, and a Wi-Fi device—all important items that urgently needed to be recovered. The front desk staff directed me to the restaurant to look for it. I then went to the hotel restaurant to speak with the manager, inquiring whether anyone had seen the green handbag the previous night. The manager stated that they had not received any lost items, but I still left my email address and phone number for future contact. When my husband and I went upstairs for the second time to check room 11, I noticed something unusual: a bag of potato chips that hadn't been opened when we left the room was now open and half-eaten. I immediately reported this to the staff, which proved that someone had entered the room after we left (this can also be confirmed by CCTV footage). Just as I was about to contact the police, the staff member who handled our check-out (a rather large young man) offered to let me know if I wanted to see the lost and found. He took out a basket containing several items, including my green handbag. He said that my green bag had been found by restaurant staff at "table 8" the previous night and showed me a note that read "restaurant table 8 07109125" (I have the note now and can provide a photo). While I was relieved to have my bag back, the following points raised questions: 1. When I initially asked the restaurant staff, they all said they hadn't seen the green bag. 1. The manager confirmed that we sat at table 17 on the evening of September 7th—not table 8, an area we never visited. 2. The Wi-Fi device in my bag showed a full charge (100%). Given that I used the device all night and only charged it at 5:00 AM, and personally placed the Wi-Fi device in the small green handbag at 8:00 AM, it's impossible for the device to remain fully charged if the bag had been in the lost and found area all night. I have battery screenshots and time stamps as proof. Clearly, the handbag was still in the room when we checked out at 8:00 AM and was subsequently taken. The staff member who handled the check-out briefly left and then suddenly reappeared when I returned is also questionable. We earnestly request your assistance in clarifying the following issues: 1. Who handed the green handbag to the front desk? Why was it associated with table 8? I dined at table 17 that evening. 2. Who entered room 11 between 8:00 AM and 9:20 AM on September 8th? Who ate the potato chips? 3. Could you please review the surveillance footage for the relevant time period to verify staff movement? Why didn't your other staff members see any videos? Have the hotel lobby and hallway videos disappeared without explanation? 4. I believe you will take this matter seriously. Transparency is crucial for maintaining the hotel's integrity and reputation. It is important to note that although the handbag was eventually recovered, this incident serves as a significant warning. Your hotel's overall service is excellent and commendable, but the actions of a few individuals can damage the hard work of the entire team. We earnestly request that you strengthen employee conduct management to avoid affecting the hotel's hard-earned reputation. We believe you will handle this matter seriously. Thank you.

Good location, convenient for public transportation, shopping and dining. Although the hotel is old, it has complete facilities and good service. The breakfast is especially worthy of praise. It not only has a buffet, but also includes different types of freshly baked typical English breakfast, which is great value for money.

The beautiful woman at the front desk helped carry the luggage to the room (no elevator). The room was relatively small, the classical design was very comfortable, and everything else was very good. The minibar had many varieties and was not expensive, the bedding was very good, and the shower was powerful. We just encountered a heat wave these days and the air conditioner is not working well. It takes a little over half an hour to walk to Hampton Court Palace (passing through Bushy Park), then take the R68 bus back to see the Arts Center, stroll along the Thames, have a beer and walk back again. There are many coffee shops and restaurants in the community. You can have lunch in the hotel garden restaurant. We also went to Bar Estilo to eat tapas and The Adelaide to drink Pimms. It was a leisurely three days. Recommended to friends who want to experience life leisurely before going home after visiting London.

It has a very long history, so don't expect modern facilities. It is clean and tidy overall. The restaurant is also very good. The hot English breakfast can satisfy Chinese stomachs. Teddington is very safe and close to the airport. It only takes more than 30 minutes to get there by SL7.

Bar area is nice with big TV. Rooms need complete refurbishment. Carpets in corridors are old and musty. Housekeeping staff should get more training.

Spacious and clean room. Parking area small for the number of rooms and difficult to get a space on arrival.
