I found the location of St Giles to be very convenient, especially if you're a fan of West End musicals. It’s close to Tottenham Court Road, Chinatown, and Covent Garden. The entrance isn’t located on a corner, and there’s an unobstructed pathway, which makes it feel safe and easy to navigate with baggage. I was also lucky enough to have a room with a view on the 5th floor.
However, the facilities are somewhat limited. For example, toiletries only include a 3-in-1 shower gel, and slippers aren’t provided, possibly as an eco-friendly measure. Additionally, there aren’t enough lifts to handle the high traffic during peak hours, so addressing this would be beneficial.
Overall, my experience at St Giles was great!

Good location in the city.
Easy to arrive from Heathrow as the Elizabeth line stops right at Tottenham Court Road. Also easy to go to Gatwick - you can go to Victoria or Farringdon by tube and switch to the rails.
However the building and rooms could be improved in quality. The elevator was very slow, and in the rooms the shower booth was small and the bathroom door did not close well.

I always stay in this hotel. This is around about the 20th time. Hotels in a great location and the rooms are basic that you only here to shower. You have restaurants, coffee shops banks all outside the hotel and the location is the best in London.

Small rooms but very clean and nitbkuch noise for the centre of London. The hotel is currently being fixed up but the work happening is not in the way or loud.
The lifts are a little slow.
