super close to paddington station ! really safe area to stay in for a solo traveller. hotel is pretty clean and new, except that there were 2 insects on the wall 😭 air con was really strong and great for this july’s heatwave.

Terrible experience, arrived at 9pm to be told my booking has been transferred to their sister hotel the Grande Royal 20 minutes away. They then offered to book a taxi for the transfer but didnt pay for it. An hour after originally trying to check in I arrived at The Grande Royal was extremely disappointing and tired, the room was dirty, worn carpets, broken tiles in the bathroom and a tiny room that was 30 degrees. Never booking a stay with them again, avoid at all costs

The hotel staff, especially Kamalin, were very friendly and kind. They helped us change rooms.

I thought this place was very cute and comfortable and close to Paddington station. It also has air conditioning which is a huge plus in the heat! I would definitely stay here again.

Clean , efficient service and offered Prosecco on arrival Breakfast more than acceptable We did not use the spa Nice walk across Hyde Park to West End Good access to tube and buses Very good value

Excellent location and fabulous guest services. Maintenance request was responded efficiently and all drinks inside the room are complimentary.

They changed us to a larger room due to me graduating and needing a larger room to get ready. This was an easy process and the team were very helpful. The air conditioning is great too!
