We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and in a good location, a short walk to the tube station. Staff were very pleasant and the room was spacious. Lovely toiletries provided too and range of hot beverages.

Choose the hotel for its location near The Royal Albert Hall. Checked in early, need ID, cases stored well we had lunch in the Q Bistro rear patio area. Note it’s a designated smoking area. Very accommodating. Had the choice of the A la carte or All day Meun. All excellent. Hotel clean & modern Had a Deluxe Club Rm, had all the amenities expected of a 4 star Hotel. Excellent breakfast. Only downside was the table was cleared of used cutlery during the course of breakfast.

We were really looking to our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent close to Gloucester Road tube. Only one of the lifts was working and the builders were working on the third floor, if you decided to take the stairs you could see the builder’s. Unfortunately we didn’t like our room and we were supposed to have been up graded,the photo didn’t look like the room online. During the night there was a clicking sound in the wall or outside the window, not sure what was going on here at 3am. We didn’t get much sleep and compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at we wouldn’t return the luxury really was missing.

The staff at Queen’s Gate Hotel were friendly, always available and willing to help. For example: they helped me print out a document and get a taxi. Unfortunately, the hotel is NOT worth the money I paid. The room is small and can fit one piece of large 29” luggage. The 2nd piece was a bit of a challenge. I had to push in the chair to allow my second luggage to lay flat on the floor. The curtain is not blackout so you can’t really sleep in. No coffee machine but the hotel does provide a few packs of complimentary instant coffee, 2 small bottles of spring water and some tea bags. The bathroom is where the problem is. It’s so tiny, and not user friendly. Although I understand that it’s all about maximizing space, the bathroom lacks functionality and comfort. There is only a piece of narrow board as shelving unit right above the faucet and needless to say, my facial lotion and toner bottle get splashed with water and become wet every time I washed my hands. The traditional swinging door is right by the sink and due to the miniature size of the bathroom, the door can’t fully open and gets in the way when I use the sink. The bathtub is extremely narrow so you can’t really turn at all when in the bathtub. There is only a bottle of cleansing wash so it’s supposed to be shampoo and body wash. There is no hair conditioner. I expected a bit more for a 4-star hotel. Overall, great location but not worth the money I paid. Could’ve found a much more spacious hotel room at this price point.

Excellent hotel in a really nice place

Super clean room and super comfy big bed. Staff is competent and considerate. For example she informed me of the room that I was going to get , saving me a trip up and down to ask for room change. Slightly off the touristic treks but it’s served well by buses and underground.; but the prices are more than compensated for it. It’s hidden gem!

They have the best breakfast which includes English breakfast and fresh orange juice. The service is very good and the staff are professional and helpful. Room requires some deep cleaning and maintenance.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, and VA Museum, and is very suitable for traveling. The surroundings are very quiet. Besides, the hotel service is very good, helping with luggage and cleaning. It is a very good experience and highly recommended.

Excellent location for proximity to Royal Albert Hall. Staff very accommodating and we were able to choose a very quiet room which although had views over the back, was peaceful and very clean. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of choice. Would definitely use again.
