I stayed this time before my flight from Heathrow T5. I have fallen in love with the character of this hotel as it really is a very good value. A little dated but I love that about it and it's positioning is amazing for plane spotters. You have everything you need and this time a couple of shortbread biscuits in the room with the tea/coffee selection. Thank you Thistle especially Parik and Mechell and the lovely cleaner who is always outside brushing up the fallen leaves when I see her! I will be back.

Transportation is very easily if you’re arriving at terminal 5 then take the POD

The internal rooms and environment were quite good and clean, but the location was not up to mark. Additionally, the design of the hotel is not that good because I found it difficult to find my room, the corridors were like some kind of maze. But on top of all, the breakfast was awesome, and it was offered for free.

Very last minute booking and arrived 30 mins after completing booking on easy to use app. Easy to check in and early morning departure . Nice dinner , reasonable choices. Quiet room. Near pods to T5 or get the 423 bus outside .

Nice clean room. Large hotel so very spread out. Drinks very expensive. Food reasonable and very good. Staff very nice.
Used the pods to gwt to airport.free to go £7 to return per person

Perfect for Terminal 5 at LHR Airport. You can take a 'pod' which is a very short 4 minute walk. It cost £7 - that is the actual cost I believe, the hotel do not make money from it. Otherwise there is a bus, or a taxi will cost £25 for the 4 minute trip! Pod was working when we were there, even though the hotel website said it wasn't for that date! It was great!
Hotel food was fine,and price OK for a hotel.
It was a little confusing to find when driving using Google maps, go to the Premier Inn / McDonalds.
Check in easy. Room not fancy, but does the job as a good location before a flight from T5. Snacks in hotel shop super pricey, go out the hotel, turn right and there is a garage/gas station, where it is cheaper.
Terrace Bar would be good for plane spotters, but unfortunately raining when we were there.
Despite being right next to the airport, we didn't hear any plane noise at all!

Quite convenient location near the London LHR terminal 5 of airport. Also hotel has a POD transportation system that take you quickly from hotel to terminal 5 (cost 8 GBP per person). Very good place for quick rest and overnight flight.
