Abbey Lodge Hotel

First arrived on the day of stay. I will give the reception around 3 rating. He wasnt at the reception where they should be. He was in his little room so that is off impression. The decor seem like something put of the 70s. When i went up to my room i dont no what was that smell. Smell like musty smell, the bathroom has mold on the ceiling, wallpaper coming off. I know it was below the average for hotel like this. Stayed there 2 nights that was enough. Hotel loke this could do better through out the hotel

Place was dirty . From walking in to the garden we were put in while waited for the room.. that weren't much better bathroom . Didnt dare use the shower was dirty. Towels stained and room full of cobwebs. Booking was with breakfast included.. nothing mentioned to us about it . Luckily for us it was a bed fir a few hours but still that was unpleasant... its not fit to keep animals never mind rent out rooms . No pictures as just wanted to get up n leave

The property did not make us feel safe as the front door was opened past midnight and there were foxes around. There was no hot water at all throughout our stay and we saw ants on the walls. Overall was not value for money at all.

The location was great. Close to shops and station The room was not clean. There was no daily service so bins weren’t emptied and bathroom not cleaned. Our room was next to the outside area, people smoking there until after 11pm Staff sitting outside talking loudly. Had to keep asking for toilet paper etc Wifi connection was very weak No windows to open for ventilation.

It's really far away from the tube so it's really hard to walk with luggage, there is no lift so you might have to carry your luggage 3 floors up. The room and toilet are tiny so you will definitely bang everywhere and the shower you will need an hour cause the water is so slow. The room was freezing as they don't switch on the heating. Bed sheet and pillow head very wired stains. Not to mention the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything next door. Never again.

Furnitures are old. Sound proof is very bad. A guy banged the doors of all rooms to find out whether someone’s car was blocking his car. The mouse was so loud and it’s in the early morning. Very very bad experience. I will not go back there to stay

Something of a dump, a bit like a 1950s time warp with furnishings that has not been changed in 70 years. Tacky, worn-out furniture, shabby doors, paint splashed onto tiles, not wiped off and left to harden. A bathroom the size of broom cupboard, leaving you with hardly any room to move. A loose toilet seat. A television that did not work. Neglect everywhere. One just slips out of the door, unable to know where to start in any complaint! A shame, because this part of Ealing is quite pretty, with the spring blossoms in the sunshine, but this place brings The Queen of Suburbs down.

The room is clean, appropriate and large enough. The location is practical because it is in zone 3 London, just 2 zones away from central London (20-30 min. away). You can walk 10 minutes to tube stations. Sufficiently comfortable for night stay, with shared microwave and refrigerator. There’re not a lot of amenities like big 5-stars hotels but I don’t mind because it’s just for sleepover and during the day, I go outside. Recommended for someone who wants to save cost. 👍🏼
