The hotel was good but not 5 star. The room was small and air conditioning was not the best. Tv was not working so had to mess around with cables to get it on. Some of the furniture was chipped. The breakfast was okay one day, the next two mornings were hit and miss. Cold beans, lukewarm scrambled eggs and also hard fried eggs. I would expect better from a 5 star environment. Overall the hotel location was very good and the bed and servicing of the room was good. The room amenities were poor. Teabags(4) No flavoured teas, no biscuits, no hot chocolate sachets and a coffee machine with (4) pods and a metre electric cord and two metres from a socket. Like I said, far too many little things wrong to be a 5 star establishment. Overall was ok but for 360 pounds a night you are having a laugh.

I was looking at the Biltmore and the Waldorf but decided to stay at the Trafalgar as they have bigger rooms than the Biltmore and the Waldorf looks like it is in desperate need of an upgrade. Everyone was very polite and helpful apart from one staff member, more on that later. I was upgraded to a Suite on arrival but requested a toom with two beds instead which was granted. The Nelson double room is very spacious and modern. It faintly smelled of mothballs whenever you entered the room and the smell then quickly disappeared. We noticed that one of the beds was sagged in the middle and this was very quickly resolved by the maintenance team and was not an issue for us at all. The only reason i mention it in my review is because Alejandra apologised a thousand times for this “inconvenience” and even send us Macaroons and drinks to the room as an apology. During checkout, Alejandra apologised again and made sure our stay was perfect. There was a key card under the bed which was covered with dust as was the carpet under the bed. Cleanliness regarding this could obviously be better as dust can trigger allergies. The service of the staff at Trafalgar is above that of all other Hilton properties in London and certainly a step above from general hospitality service in Europe. I would give the service at Trafalgar a 9 based on European standards and a 7 based on Middle-Eastern and Asian standards. Breakfast was so highly rated in many reviews of this hotel which also influenced my choice, i was expecting an absolute feast. Unfortunately, breakfast was quite disappointing for us. Staff was great apart from someone who i can only describe as a North-African young woman with shoulder length curls who did not want to give us one of the three empty tables available in the Breakfast room with only 40 minutes available for Breakfast as she was keeping those for families of 7. This is rather absurd and we ended up taking one of the tables anyway as i wasn’t going to sit where she suggested which was away from everyone else. Breakfast in any hotel, especially 5* is always based on first come, first serve. You can’t deny your guest seating space at breakfast as if you were running a dinner service. Vegan options are very, very limited. Fruit selection is even more basic than what you can get at any supermarket in London. There was only Cantaloupe, Watermelon and Pineapple. There were Apples and Bananas for grabs but that is still not enough. Pastries are miniatures which is really shameful for a breakfast buffet. Only sausages available were Pork, no vegan and no Chicken so unfortunately no sausages for me. It’s basically a full English and that’s it. You could order A-La-Carte but that wasn’t special either. We had Amex Platinum credit so we used that for one of the dishes which was not special for the £15 asking price. Room service was basic as well. Hotel is lovely, rooms may be a little outdated but were super clean. Amazing restaurant in house the ”Leicester Square Kitchen” more than made up for the rooms. Amazing Mexican/Peruvian small plates of food. Worth coming back just for that. Massive shout out to Sonia also who was on the breakfast shift. As my daughter commented ”that's the kind of energy you want to meet in the morning” :)

This hotel was overall a good experience. Considering the price tag some things were not as good as expected though: - The location. Although it is very central located Leicester Square does have a share of homeless people walking around and heavy ambiance in the late night. Nevertheless considering connections is as perfect as it can be in central London. - The rooms are a little small but nicely appointed. - The bathroom has a weird design with a small bathtub. Really liked the toto toilet. - Too much light in the room in the night. The curtains don't close completely and are a lot of mirrors reflecting the light troughout the room. - The hotel is big with several common areas and at reception there is no clear explanation... for instance I didn't understand if the courtyard was open or not. Nevertheless the gym, pool and spa were very straightforward and well appointed. - I think it is not acceptable the in room open ear cleaners (cotonete) for hygienic reasons. - Lights over the bed too strong. - Room cleaning could be better. The highlights of the stay: - The central location besides the inherent problems. - Lively but yet organized and not loud entrance lobby and bar. - The complimentary soft drinks and snacks at the secondary lobby. - Miller Harris bath products overall very good except the body lotion which the smell was harsh and totally off. - Gym and pool. - Overall very quiet room and halls. So would I return there? Honestly only if I really need to stay at Leicester Square. For me it was good but not amazing stay, with an overall feeling of pretensious mood and too expensive for what it was. If you want a really luxurious expericence I would recommend to search elsewhere but at a discount this would be a nice stay. For the amount of hotels in central London this one just didn't excited me enough.. I would prefer to return to Pan Pacific for instance.

I am very satisfied with my stay in London this time. The price is not expensive and the location is excellent. Buckingham Palace is right outside the door. We happened to see the changing of the guard ceremony. It didn't take long to walk to the lively Regent Street, which was very satisfying. The room is also very new and fully equipped with slippers, shower caps and cotton swabs. There is plenty of water supply. I like their tea bags very much. After turning on the bed, there are chocolates. Breakfast is also semi-buffet style and tastes good. I like the smoked salmon. The price is very reasonable for Greater London on weekends and I will come again.

The Haymarket is an incredibly special place. I had such a wonderful time with my 6 year old daughter for one night. She asked me “why is everyone being so nice to me?” As she was treated so well. Everyone was so friendly and there were lots of nice touches e.g they left a present of the book Matilda as we told them that we were going to see the show. They were also very understanding when we had a spilt drink in the room - which was big, comfortable and spotless. The only thing that confused me was that there were no tea making facilities in the room, but of course I found out that you just call and they will bring you a complimentary one. The location is fantastic- we popped into the National Art Gallery and walked to the show. We enjoyed the pre-theatre menu which was very reasonable and had a great children’s menu. On our second day we enjoyed the immense breakfast - delicious buffet table and a la carte choices. We then made the most of the swimming pool and inflatables before walking to the London Eye. Such a fun weekend! Thank you.

Good location, right next to Trafalgar Square, next to Tesco express and Macdonald. The hotel room is also large. Friendly service, you can order Chinese food with just eat. The room has a microwave. Hygiene is average, seems gray, and the bathroom has a slight odor. There is no own parking lot. There is a cooperative parking lot on the other side of the square. You can park temporarily at the door and drop your luggage before going to the parking lot. Parking is 44 pounds a day and about 37 pounds with a hotel coupon. There are actually two hotels here, one is grand and the other is cq. I booked grand but lived in Cq. I do n’t know how to arrange it. When the hotel is not busy, it is sold at 7-800, and the price is good. After all, it is close to the Thames and other attractions.

The Dilly was probably amazing in the 1980's and 1990's but not much has been updated since then! We stayed in a Dilly Classic room which was perfectly fine, a good size, clean with strong Wifi. The shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. I know some people on this site weren't impressed by the breakfast but I thought it was great. Obviously, the location is fabulous. However, I didn't feel the room was up to five-star standard. The coffee was instant and the milk small UHT cartons. There was no fridge or mini-bar (though we were in the 'cheapest' room so may be different elsewhere). The toiletries were cheap and basic (so bring your own), there was no plug by the bed to charge devices overnight and no Blu-tooth speaker which seems to be a given now in higher-end hotels. The style of the room itself was quite dated including the landline next to the toilet which I'm sure was incredibly cool in 1986 :) Overall, if this was a three-or-four-star hotel I'd give it full marks, but as it's a five-star, (and more importantly charging five-star prices), it's lacking in some areas. I believe the hotel is currently 'between owners' which makes sense, as I guess the current owners don't want to invest and are ticking along until the new ones take over. It's not dreadful by any means, but they charge a lot for what you get.

Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

W/End away in London. We were looking for a hotel close to the river Thames & St. Catherine’s Docks inc. Tower Bridge & St. Paul’s Cathedral. Eventually we found the Clubquaters Hotel in St. Paul’s. which was was spot on for location. The hotel was superb, great facilities, inc. a gym. the room was lovely, Reception staff were very helpful. Just off the Reception is a direct link door to the superb Cotes Restaurant, so we could start our day off with a great Full English Breakfast. Yum…Yum it was spot on! The location of the hotel is superb….St. Paul’s Cathedral right next door…a Bell Ring away….the River Thames including the famous Millennium Bridge, a short walk away. Close to St. Paul’s Underground along with city bus stops and numerous extremely convenient shops., couldn’t fault it. Spot on!

It turned out we arrived after the Queen Elizabeth’s death @7AM English time on September 12th , Angel greeted us with a big smile and told us our room was ready. It’s a terrific hotel You could not have a more helpful staff.,Barbara and Angel entire staff. The location is perfect next to Charring Cross tube,near West End, Walking distance to Government Buildings Diagonal to Trafalgar Square . I would give it higher than 5 .if I could.Will definitely go back and stay . I have told my friends at home . Thanks for a great visit,

I stayed here for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. The hotel is in a fantastic location, a 2 minute walk from Leicester Square. We were seeing some shows while on our trip and the theatres were a 5 minute walk from the hotel which was perfect. The rooms are clean and exactly as they are pictured on the website. They have all you need for a city break where you are in and out of your room all of the time. I would definitely stay here again or in another Hub hotel. Cheap and exactly what you need for a city break.

My daughter and I stayed there for five days before Christmas. The hotel location is very good. It’s just about 10 meters away from the tube exit to the hotel gate. We walked to the Southbank and National Gallery in about 15minutes. From the nearest pier, Embarkment Pier, we took the ferry down to the River Thame. It’s quite easy to get to almost every spot. On the first day, we stayed on the first floor in the Wing. It’s another building linked with the main through a bridge. Although the receptionist explained it was far from the underground, I could still hear the metro running down nearby every five minutes very clearly. The room was also not very clean. There was dust on the kettle. I talked to the front desk and they agreed to help us change to another room on the sixth floor from the second day. (Are the receptionists a bit sly or they just not familiar with the condition of their rooms? I was once a customer relationship officer in a hotel and I am quite doubt about it. But anyway, I can understand.) It was quiet on the sixth floor but as you can see in pictures, the back board of our bed was worn and there were some white raw patches. The room is bigger than the one we had in the 1st floor. I found the the whole Wing from the first to the sixth floor looks old. When I booked the hotel, I remember I saw some information about their renovations. Maybe it’s just within the main building. The main building and the guests room hallways are much better than in the Wing. There were shiny Christmas decors everywhere. So I think maybe the price of the room sin the main are higher than those in the Wing? The staff at the cafe were very friendly and nice. The breakfast there was very limited. Especially the quality of the sausages. There were too much flour in them. I loved the beans and smoked salmon. Coffee and breakfast tea were good, but the milk was too watery.

Breakfast is 19 pounds per person (plus service charge), which is more expensive, and there are not many varieties. The hotel is very close to the subway station. The room is not small in this location, but the facilities have two drawbacks. There is no height difference in the shower, the shower water flows to the entire bathroom floor, and the wash basin is too small to wash clothes. . The last one is that I asked the waiter to clean the room and change the sheets. The black waiter threw the quilt in the ground in front of me and then changed the sheets. I asked if the quilt was also replaced. She explained that it only stained one side. At my request, another waiter changed the quilt cover.

Very central for theatres and only a 30 min walk from Victoria Station. Easy check in and even got an upgrade and a bottle of prosecco as celebrating. The only negative was the coffee. Only a nespresso machine in the room so couldn't have a cup of tea or a coffee with milk or sugar The coffee machine at breakfast kept going wrong so I suggest taking your own (fridge in room for your milk) Apart from that a great hotel with friendly staff on reception Would definitely recommend

We have just returned from a long weekend stay here and I can honestly say it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Krishna who did the nighttime shift on the bar he stood out (my partner and I both said that it’s rare that you see someone take so much pride and care in their work as he does). The location was amazing, the hotel and rooms were very clean, tidy and modern, the beds were really comfortable, our room didn’t have a window but we knew that this may be a possibility before we booked so that wasn’t an issue, there was complimentary cheese and wine on the Saturday evening, the rooms were small but we only really used them to sleep and shower so again, not an issue. I think if I was staying in London for longer then we may choose somewhere else with bigger rooms but for a long weekend it was perfect. Overall, we had a great stay, excellent value for money, friendly, welcoming staff and a brilliant location! Will definitely be staying again.
