Hotels near Royal Artillery Barracks in London

The location of the hotel is perfect which is close to the station and on the main Greenwich road. It is next to the Cafe rouge restaurant that is perfect for dining which is another bonus on top. The room was clean and comfortable to stay in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Based on the service provided, the rates were reasonable and affordable. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back!

The hotel is next to the Greenwich Metro station and the bus stop is in front. A pleasant place, we always feel safe. The next has several restaurants. The hotel is new, excellent breakfast, with a variety of varieties. The hotel was very good, and my wife and our 12-year-old daughter were in a bed with Queen bed and a single bed/sofa. Big bathroom with bathroom.

Generic chain hotel stay as you would expect, rooms were clean and comfortable, half decent view of London skyline actually. Just as expected, if you expect anything special from a holiday in then you’re insane, it’s a clean comfortable no frills place to stay, standard breakfast, decent parking aside from added cost and all staff were very pleasant so can’t complain, only negative was having to pay an extortionate price for 2 night but that’s my fault for booking last minute when the Laver cup was on at the 02. On that note this is a great location for access to the 02. 10 minute walk.

We stayed at Ibis Budget Barking on one of the hottest nights of the year. The air-conditioning worked brilliantly, so we had a much better night than friends who stayed at a much more expensive hotel in central London! We were attending an event at The University of East London SportsDock. It was very easy to get to - just a short walk to the bus stop by Tesco, a 19-minute bus journey which took us very close to the venue - so Ibis Budget Barking is ideal for anyone wanting to go to something in East London. The front of house staff were very courteous and helpful. I have rated this 4 rather than 5 as a kettle ought to be a standard offering in all rooms (in Ibis Budget Portsmouth we had a kettle). But, all in all, an excellent budget location.

Good service, the people at the front desk are very nice. The room was clean and spacious. Convenient to travel, very close to Tesco. The serviced apartments are very well equipped.

Absolutely loved our stay there, would definitely go again. Food was pricey but lovely nonetheless. Location is ok but access to people going my foot could be easier, and prices could definitely be lower, but overall a great experience still.

I stayed at this hotel with my sisters and we had 2 rooms. The reception staff was very pleasant, helpful and professional. We arrived about an hour before check in time and were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were ready . Spacious rooms , well maintained and clean . The bed linen etc was also very good . We actually ate dinner at the restaurant and it was freshly made and good value . Breakfast next day was also plentiful. The hotel was quite busy but staff seemed to be working very hard .

To whom it may concern I wish to complain about my experience with the Canary Wharf point A hotel on the 24th of March. I was very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism members of staff showed me and my friends during our short time at the hotel. Firstly, we got told to turn the music down which I totally understand and respected, after turning the music right down we get another knock on the door and once again it was security and a female member of staff claiming we were doing drugs and smoking (which really upset and offended me as I have recently lost a close friend to drug use). I offered them to come and search the room to prove we had no drugs and weren’t smoking but they were having none of it and told us we had to leave. To make it even worse they also made my other two friends leave who were in a totally separate room with no reason or evidence of this supposed drug use and smoking. I tried explaining that we have travelled from Sunderland and would be stranded with no where to stay but I was ignored and told to leave. Before we left the same female member of staff told us the manager has told them to make us leave she then gave us a card with a number to get hold of the manager which we rung immediately after leaving. If our experience with the hotel and service wasn’t bad enough, we then get told on the phone there’s no manager in the building which makes me believe the manager never told anyone to kick us out. In total we spent around 2 hours in the hotel and when I asked about getting a refund I got totally blanked and ignored. I have also emailed Canary Wharf point A hotel to express my disappointment with how we were treated but have not received a reply at this moment. Despite not being disabled ourselves, we were given a disabled room which had obviously just been refurbished. The room was excellent, spacious and well appointed. We've never slept in such a large bed - it was wider than it was long!
