My partner and I stopped here for lunch and were treated to the best meal we’ve had in Ireland. We were very warmly received and quickly made to feel at home despite staying for only a meal. We certainly hope to stay at the b&b at some point! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy meal and friendly environs.

This was a very good choice in terms of accommodation as it was not too expensive (in comparison to other places in Derry) and was very comfortable. The rooms we had were well decorated and the beds were comfy. The en-suite bathrooms were nice and clean. The room views were of the city and this also applies to the seating area out the back where we were able to enjoy a drink in the sun. The location is good and quiet although it is uphill a bit. This is not really a problem at all but if I had lots of luggage I'd maybe get a taxi. The staff were remarkably friendly and helpful. We met them mostly at breakfast and they sorted us out well in general with all our enquiries like how to find places in the city.

Really not as advertised. We stayed at the hotel Monday and Tuesday but moved to another hotel Wednesday as we didn’t sleep. Bed mattress so old and lumpy. Nothing in the description was how it actually was. No soap or toiletries in the room. We paid for a deluxe room which was on the ground floor right next to the front door, that was the only area we had access to for our stay. The room was so warm but there was no fan and hotel directly onto Main Street so not ideal to open windows and folk looked in when curtains and blinds open. The bar and restaurant’ (a few tables) and the balcony terrace looking over the city was locked up during our stay and there was no access to vending machines. We were told it only opens at weekends and it was booking. com fault for not as putting such. Photos advertised a lovely breakfast but it’s a limited selection of bread/cakes and a bit of ham and cheese. I had a very stale sausage roll. Nothing appeared fresh and the milk was off and curdled my tea, although I did get an apology for that. Room was big enough but no wardrobe, just 3 hangers on a wall rack. Parking is on a very busy packed street. Rooms are apparently only serviced if you request it! We were offered fresh water for the rooms, which we got but the used cups were left and milk not replenished (again I was told I should have asked) no one was around to ask and owner was off site the 2 days we were there. It is a good ten minute walk into the town, we were happy to walk but it’s a very steep walk and I know some may find it too strenuous to walk up. My parents still travel and walk but they would t have been able to do the hill, maybe should be made slightly clearer. We did love the walk though. We found a great alternative and we did live the town and all the landmarks.

Really central part of town, about a 10-15 min walk in to town (don’t mind the hills!). The accommodation was gorgeous, clean and well laid out. Continental breakfast included was delicious. Street parking right outside the B&B. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay in Derry, rooms are nice. One of the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. The view off the back deck is amazing and the breakfast was awesome. Great staff, a must stay in Derry. Highly recommend. Came back to the B&B after a great night and had a few pints on the deck with the awesome view.

Writing this review in points 1.On arrival it looks shabby outside.2. Struggled to open bedroom door.3. Major pet hate NO CURTAINS on one window. I had to put small towel over my head early mrn. 4. Breakfast stopped at 9.30. Wasnt told this. We got nothing. 5. You have to leave your house and walk a min across the road to get breakfast.Cldnt even get cereal, tea and toast. Really awful.

We arrived as a family to a lovely warm welcome from Caroline, she showed us to our room (room 2) We only booked for 1 night but wish we stayed another. The family room for my husband, me and 2 teenage boys was spacious enough for a couple days and not much luggage. The room and bathroom was spotless. The TV didn't work, we weren't too bothered as we were only there for 1 night, we didnt report it either (we forgot). After a wee chill in the room we explored the city which is very hilly so the B&B wouldn't be suitable for those with mobility issues. Everything we needed was close by. And we all had a comfortable night sleep. The continental breakfast was plentiful and had a range of warm pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and toast. A bit disappointed a cooked breakfast wasn't on offer even at an extra cost. The rooms were reasonably priced meaning an extra cost for a cooked breakfast would be perfectly acceptable. We would definitely stay again. And plan on it soon.

Room was cute but we didn’t have any hot water at night or in the morning. We messaged the number in the morning but never heard anything back by the time we left. The water was absolutely freezing so I wasn’t able to take a shower. I booked the room last minute and never received late check in information because we would be there after 8pm when no one was supposed to be on site.

I can’t comment on the B&B but had planned to meet 8 friends there for breakfast which they were heavily advertising on social media. Very disappointed as I called on Friday to check if you were open for breakfast for 8 people on Saturday. I was told no problem and we could just walk in. Arrived Saturday to find it closed. No sign explaining why. Landline phone ringing off either no answer and mobile being cut off each time we called. Checked Facebook - no posts re closure. Eventually someone came from across the street and said it was closed as 1 of the cookers broke - very unconvincing! Called the day before as opening hours have been erratic. That’s 8 people who won’t be back and not giving good reviews.
