Valet is very professional, front desk is very helpful and quick to get you in a room. Room smelled fresh and was very clean , had a great view of the harbor. A good amount of good restaurants across the bridge.

This hotel is the most cost-effective hotel in Long Beach. I personally think I will go there again for free, but I may have to give a tip to the front desk clerk. If you have a high budget, you can choose another hotel. This hotel is the most suitable within this range.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I find its location quite convenient. Located right off the 710, it provides easy access to various parts of Los Angeles County. The attached garage is a significant advantage, particularly considering the prevalence of car vandalism in Long Beach. While the rooms lack a touch of luxury, they offer a decent accommodation experience with firm beds. The bathrooms show a hint of age, yet nothing too dramatic. The lobby provides complimentary food and drinks, enhancing the overall experience. In summary, the hotel serves its purpose effectively. I plan to consider it again for my next visit to Long Beach.

Cool historic hotel located inside of an old ship in Long Beach California. There are some nice restaurants on the upper level as well.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Queen Mary. We were there for Dark Harbor and wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance. The room was updated and clean. The reception staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the firepit area and the pretty harbor view. I was a bit disappointed to see that the hotel did not provide any drinking water. I would like to recommend at least a water dispenser in the lobby if they’re opposed to leaving a couple of bottles in the room. Overall though, it was a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend.

Hotel Royal is a small and quaint hotel in downtown Long Beach. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the shoreline drive to the lighthouse and the Pike outlets. I had an exceedingly pleasant stay at Hotel Royal. The staff, articulately Mario and Jose, were accommodating. There is hot water all day and I really appreciated that. Also free coffee in the morning. It is close to all kinds of good restaurants, and I had no trouble carrying on with all kinds of fun andbusiness.

The location is good, very close to the beach, the price is reasonable for a motel. There are many restaurants nearby, and there is a Vons supermarket next to it. Room cleaning service is not provided if you do not request it.
