When you read this is a hidden gem, it is! Friendly, clean, private, quiet, absolutely what we were looking for. Authentic beach stay. Fabulous time there. The scenery cannot be beat, nor can the sunsets you'll see!

This was our 9th summer staying at the Sandpiper, but my children call it the Holiday House because they love it so much! It is the most peaceful place I've ever stayed. The beach is quiet and many times we will be the only ones on the beach. It's a hidden gem! It is always clean, and they are always updating. Every summer we find they have updated or renovated something. There is a beautiful walking trail on the bay side just across the road, Joan Durante. The beauty of LBK and the Sandpiper is the old Florida feel. Our favorite restaurants are Mar Vista (our favorite), Whiteney's, La Norma and Euphemia Hayes (the dessert room is a must!).
