The Rising Sun Inn

A great pub to stay at for a long weekend. We stayed there to watch racing at Brands Hatch for two days and you could not be closer to the circuit. The food was outstanding, we had a ribeye steak and we are still talking about it a week later. The staff were very friendly and if they saw our glass empty it was promptly collected and refreshed. Small problem with check in as their system wasn’t showing full payment had been paid. But resolved after a call to the manager.

I try to stay here when working at Brands Hatch because of the convenience, about a mile. The rooms are spacious, with a great bed and refreshing shower. The restaurant serves excellent food with a good variety to choose from when stopping there for 4 nights. The staff are all friendly and courteous.

Great stay again although bit of a wait for dinner considering the amount of people in the restaurant

Little Gem ideal for Brands Hatch I try to stay here when working at Brands Hatch as it is just so convenient. Room are spacious, with great facilities, eg power points, fan, desk, sofa etc. Bed is very comfortable for a decent nights sleep and the rooms are very quiet. Great shower in the morning. Great food in the restaurant downstairs. Things to note, the car park is fairly small and if the restaurant is busy parking when you arrive in the evening can be tricky. Service this time in the restaurant was VERY slow on one of the three nights where it took an hour to be served the starter. There was a group in the following evening who didn't get their meals (despite having pre-ordered) until gone 9:30. That being said the food is worth waiting for. The final point is the Rising Sun Inn doesn't serve breakfast or evening meals on Sunday.

Positives - staff were friendly. Negatives - we had to swap rooms as Bed was broken, no signal, sheets were dirty and TV didn’t work Orders food at 5pm - it took one and a half hours to cook four burgers and a scampi - I had to ask the staff in the end.

Staff were fantastic. As a result of a late ending to racing I was too late for the evening menu. A short phone call to the Pub ordered sandwiches for when I got back. They were ready for me as soon as I got in.

Friendly staff but very long wait for a sandwich , no hot water as plumbing / gas issues.

Warm welcome with good food and good beer. Staff excellent and new chef first class. Comfortable room. Happy to recommend without hesitation. Particular thanks to Megan
