Visiting the Long ji Rice Terraces and staying at the BaiKe Inn was one of our top experiences in China. Staff at BaiKe supported our trip with pre-arrival details for transportation from Guilin and hiking trail information and recommendations for the rest of our trip in Guilin Yangshuo. The dinner menu and preparation of local food (bamboo rice, local fish and stewed chicken) were Michelin star quality. It was such a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend. Hotel owner speaks perfect English and super helpful.

The room is very big, you can see the terraces, the scenery is very good, the boss is nice, he also provides pick-up and drop-off services, and helps you carry your luggage to the room. It is very close to the No. 2 observation deck. I happened to go there on the 30th and the weather was very good. There was sunshine, so it was great to take pictures. When it was time to leave, the boss also helped us book a bus to take us to the high-speed rail station. The overall service was very good.

The location is really great to spend your time in Longji. After not even a 5-minute walk from the hotel, you are already at the first main viewing platform ”Nine Dragons and five tigers”. The scenery is breathtaking and totally worth a visit. The hosts were amazing and helpful. Although there was a language barrier they took good care of us all throughout our stay. They informed us in advance about the arrival options and helped us to go back to Guilin by arranging a driver. Furthermore, the food was delicious and also give the mijiu (rice wine) a try. We are students in China and if we ever have the chance to come back, we will definitely stay here again!

It was raining heavily on the day we set out from the city and I was worried about not being able to go into the mountains. The inn has a discount of 20 yuan for a round trip, and 50 yuan for others. It takes about 5 minutes to take a sightseeing bus directly to the entrance of the inn, which is perfect for bringing children. If you only stay for one day, it is recommended not to bring too much luggage. It is difficult to put luggage on the sightseeing bus when there are many people. There is a restaurant on the first floor of the B&B, with a large terrace at the back. Eating is very artistic and exciting, and the food is affordable. People from other inns also come to eat. The room has a terrace just like the picture, and the bathroom has a pit and a toilet. The view in 203 is wider. The breakfast includes minced meat rice noodles, fried eggs, steamed buns, porridge and side dishes. The store is very generous and the meal fee is zero. It takes about a minute or two to go out and turn right to reach the Kowloon Five Tigers Observation Deck. There are fewer people when you get up early, so you can take pictures. There are also people who rent clothes and take pictures. There is an additional fee of 20 for children, 30 for adults, and makeup for 20. You can also take pictures yourself for free. You can try it. . There is only one science trail between the two viewing platforms. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Qixing Moon Viewing. The moon viewing platform is a tower. There is a trail to go down to Pingan Village. The road to the village is not easy to walk. If you want to go down to see the village, you can take the right hand On the side road, the road on the left side of the tower will pass through a small road less than 20 centimeters behind the house, and the smell is very strong. The terraces also have a different scenery on rainy days, with rolling clouds and mist. If there is sunshine in the morning, you can still take pictures of the sunrise in the room. The scenery is absolutely superb, but the road to the hotel is a bit challenging! The curtains in the room are not enough to cover the room and need to be improved. The toiletries are not worth the room price and need to be improved. There are cobwebs on the balcony that need to be improved. Do not saw bamboo tubes at 7:30. Perfect hotel. The view from the bedroom is so good that you don't even feel like you need to leave the hotel. The food at the restaurant is also great and at a good price. They don't know how to speak english but they always tried to help with everything they could and we were able to communicate through translation apps. We booked transfers from guilin to the hotel and from the hotel to Yangshuo and everything went very smoothly (and a lot cheaper than we would get anywhere else). The breakfast is only chinese and rather small, but very tasty! We recommend this hotel to anyone going to this area.

In the parking lot of the inn, there is a brewer at the corner of Qixing. This rice wine is 20 pounds per catty. We bought a big bucket of four catties and drank it all night. We must give it a try. It's delicious. Even if the plane is not convenient to carry, there are also one or two catties.

The view of the inn is very good, but you need to climb a mountain or walk a certain distance, and you can see the Seven Stars with the Moon directly from the balcony, which is very comfortable. The service of the store and the family is very good, there is a feeling of very careful management, the family treats every customer seriously and patiently. What needs to be improved is that the sanitation of the toilet and wash basin can be strengthened. Generally speaking, it is very good and will come in the future.

After six years, I visited the terraces again. There were many more options for the homestay. The various landscapes and net red homestays were really eye-catching. I finally chose this one. In addition to the invincible view in the room, I also saw many excellent reviews on the service of this homestay in the comments. This time I was traveling with my parents. As far as the conditions on the mountain are concerned, the cleanliness and comfort are fully able to meet the needs. The next day we stayed, we went to the thousands of floors of the ladder viewing platform to watch the sunrise. The distance is not too far. It takes about 20-30 minutes to the mountain road. Don't worry about the sunrise. The day before yesterday, the road is too dark and you can't see the road. Most of the roads have basically bright lights along the way. Although the distance is not far, it is for the elderly and people with inconvenient legs and feet. This road may not be very friendly, basically all mountain road steps, you need to be cautious. However, the scenery of the homestay itself is quite good, because it is too sun, most of our two-day trip is spent at the homestay, sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset and the moon rise, the clouds and the water, as if in the painting. After all, after dark, There are very few entertainment activities on the mountain, which I have to praise the boss and his wife's intentions and thoughtfulness.
