Just stayed here and what a wonderful friendly welcome from the owner and staff. Room was very clean and spacious, with all mod cons and amenities needed. Fantastic location and what a view, highly recommend to everyone. We will definitely be returning and we can't wait. Russ and Sue Harvey

Lovely little boutique hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. View of Whitson Bay was spectacular. Host Annie was very gracious and accomodating. We booked for a last minute get away and couldn't have enjoyed it more.

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend break. Fabulous location on the cliffs at West Looe, with amazing views across the bay and Looe Island. Short walk down into West Looe and the promenade. The hotel itself is immaculatly clean and well presented. Our double deluxe room was amazing and spacious - huge balcony with panoramic views. The kitchenette in the room with fridge and sink etc is a great idea. All the staff we met were lovely - all so friendly and helpful. We shall definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.

InnTravel booked the hotel for our walking group. Our rooms were fine—nothing special but clean and comfortable. No AC so we were thankful to have rooms facing the water. The large balcony was lovely for our afternoon sit. We told our hosts we needed breakfast earlier than posted hours, and they happily accommodated us. The continental breakfast was bountiful, so we didn’t order the hot breakfast. The hotel is on the west side of the quay, which offers a quieter stay—but it does mean walking to eat on the east side. Be sure to ask the hostess for directions as the ones she provided were down a “back alley” and much shorter than the ones offered by Google!

A pretty basic offering. Sounds proofing an issue with banging doors and noise from adjoining rooms. Peeling paint on bath surround. View of wall out the back wad depressing.

This place is more like a b&b than a hotel, to get to reception you climb 36 steps from street level NO lift, rooms with balcony’s on upper floors were probably spacious but we had room 5 which was very cramped with no wardrobe no work surface and no chairs the kettle was almost on the floor and the room was dark most of the day because a massive wall outside the patio area blocked the sunlight,I don’t think a room of this size needs a kitchenette we didn’t use it, a wardrobe and a higher shelf for the kettle would be better, the hotel is very clean and well decorated and I dare say the larger rooms with balcony are better but avoid room 5

First impressions were good and facilities and room were impressive. BUT We stayed in room 12 where the bed advertised as a double was smaller and more like a queen size which made it uncomfortable for two people. The room was so hot with no air-con or a fan so we naturally opened all the windows which overlook the garden area. We were kept up until nearly 2am with the owners/staff talking very loudly right outside the window with all the garden lights on too. In addition to this, the room is directly above the reception where the lady who worked there was constantly chatting on her phone and you could hear the whole conversations through the floor. We found the staff to be very unprofessional considering they’re running a hotel and know that people are trying to sleep. Also, they were nowhere to be found when you actually needed someone. One morning we walked about a mile into the town to get a coffee because the machine needed to be filled, two other people had already asked but the lady was in the garden busy meditating!

I arrived at the hotel after arriving at some pre booked accommodation which turned out to be unacceptable on arrival. It was my birthday, and after a long journey and the stress of suddenly having nowhere to sleep, the Fieldhead hotel came to the rescue. We were greeted with the warmest welcome and a beautiful spotless, comfortable room with an amazing sea view and a bottle of chilled wine to enjoy in it. We had a dog with us which I was worried would be an issue but they greeted him with treats and fusses and made him just as welcome as we were. We were able to walk into town from there (about 20 mins) and found a good selection of dog friendly restaurants and would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Looe.
