Mantra Lorne ★★★★
"Brilliant location, we enjoyed the historic part of this hotel. Breakfast was very nice and it was wonderful being on the beach one side and town the other side. So easy to walk everywhere."
Lorne Coachman Inn ★★★
"I have stayed at the Coachman Inn previously. While I know that the facility is old I was disappointed with the state of it. On arrival I found that reception was closed even thou the website I booked thru had reception as open until 8pm. I called the phone number on the door and was quickly given a key. However, no direction to my room or offer of room service for breakfast. Again breakfast whilst not included was listed as available on the booking site. The shower had dust in the bottom and the carpet didn't look terribly clean either. The bed was uncomfortable. Tea/coffee & milk stingy!! For someone staying 2 nights you would expect to be able to have a couple cups of tea or coffee but no!"
Cumberland Lorne Resort ★★★★
"The hotel has the best view in Lorne. The room decoration and facilities are pretty good. The kitchen is well equipped and suitable for long stay. The electronic door lock of the room was out of power. After going out for dinner, I couldn't get in. I waited for half an hour for the hotel manager to come and open the door with the key."
Great Ocean Road Resort ★★★★
"Just stayed for one night, as we were planning to head out on the Great Ocean Road the next day. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the Anglesea River. Even though it was rainy, we woke up to some beautiful cockatoos and a stunning morning mist across the river. The room itself was spacious, and the kitchen amenities were of good quality. The lounge area was very comfortable. Definitely a recommended stay."
The Sandridge Motel ★★★
"Very good hotel,"
The Monty ★★★★
"Very clean and cosy , recommended living"
Pierview Apartments ★★★★
"Fantastic views with a spacious feel. I really appreciated the choice of pillows, I love feather ones. There was milk in the fridge, tea and coffee ready to go. We had a late lunch on the balcony watching the waves roll in. Going to sleep with the sounds of the ocean."
Sunnymead Hotel ★★★★
"This is a very cute hotel! There is a bathtub, which helped me relax after my trip. It is located in a small town, and there are cafes and restaurants around the hotel. It takes more than two hours to get to the famous 12 Apostles. It is quite far away. *Please note that the front desk is not open 24 hours."
BIG4 Aireys Inlet ★★★
"We arrived around 7:30, but the front desk had already closed and there was no contact number, so we didn't know what to do. I contacted Ctrip and called the hotel but couldn't get through. After leaving a message, I received a call from the hotel around 9:30 pm. Later, I asked other guests and found a letter left for us at the front desk. Only then did I find the room and the room key. Other aspects are good, but the service is a little lacking, it may be due to cultural differences"
