Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy the Craftsman Apartments Downtown La

Sonder the Craftman was perfect for us, it was our 1st visit to LA and we'd like to experience LAers' life :p Our flight arrived early morning, so Damel (sorry if I mispell your name) helped us keep our luggages. Check in process at 3.40PM was also smooth, note that thee will be $150 security deposit, which hopefully wil really be refunded, if nothing happened after check out. Install the Sonder apps, it will make your access easier, all the staffs were great, and the highlight was the room, it was the best deal I'd ever got for a boutique hotel. Big room with kitchen, utensils, washing machine, dryer, etc. (No toothpaste and toothbrush, which likely common in US's hotels). Room service/ cleaning lady was also attentive and clean our room (well, several bucks gratitude left at desk, will only make your stay more comfortable..) Will definitely gping back if visotong DTLA again.

I recently stayed at a Sonder property and overall had a fair experience. The location is decent but not very close to Union Station, which may be inconvenient depending on your travel plans. Street hygiene and security in the surrounding area left a bit to be desired, though it's a plus that the building itself has 24-hour front desk support and security. Check-in required an online deposit which took around 30 minutes—worth noting they don’t accept cards directly, which was a bit cumbersome. The room itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I appreciated having YouTube available on the TV and the option to self-refill amenities from the lobby—a thoughtful touch. One downside: there was a noticeable ******** smell when I first entered the room. Fortunately, it didn’t linger. Overall, the stay had a few hiccups but also offered comfort and convenience once settled

The overall of my stay hotel in this hotel was very pleasant. Good location to explore the DALT area.

This is my worst experience ever . I was charged a 250 dollars fee from my account, apparently, they said they’ll have that 250 dollars on hold before I can be given the check in details to check into the room and have it refunded back to my account after 3 - 5 business days after checking out . I saw this 250 dollars taken out of my account , the moment I gave authorization for it to be taken, so I can be given my check-in details , but I never had my money returned . I have waited for about 2 weeks now but still never got back my 250 dollars . They said , the money has been refunded back to my account and I should speak with my bank . I spoke to my bank for a hour plus , multiple times but they said they didn’t see the transaction nor my money being refunded nor released . I spoke with Sonder customer service several times but they kept having me going forth and back with no solution nor have my money returned back to me . This is the worst experience have had when it comes to lodging . I’ll never lodge in such a place ever again and I hope they choke on my hard earned money .
