Great experience overall. 1. The front desk service was incredibly welcoming, and all the staff were very friendly. 2. The location is good, mainly because it's a safe area. 3. There's a Hilgard public parking garage nearby, which costs $30 a day – a more budget-friendly option than valet. 4. An In-N-Out is just a three-minute drive away, so you don't have to worry about finding food at night.

The front desk staff were excellent communicators, the environment was great, and the hotel itself was clean and not run-down.

This is the most convenient and overall safe hotel near UCLA. Highly recommended.

I genuinely cannot fathom why this hotel charges so much. No exaggeration, this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The room wasn't just old – I can actually deal with old – the problem was it was unbelievably dirty. The carpet looked like it had been peeled off a homeless person and laid on the floor. The furniture was as old as something you'd find in a roadside motel from decades ago; the whole room felt dilapidated and clearly hadn't been properly maintained. The bed was barely sleepable, but the duvet and bedding were absolutely horrendous, feeling incredibly cheap. The blinds were almost impossible to open, making the entire room gloomy and oppressive. Staying there felt more like being in prison than a hotel. Even more ridiculous, many basic things were broken. The phone was out of order, so you could only use speakerphone. There wasn't even a simple 'Do Not Disturb' sign for the door. For the price they charge, this level of quality isn't just 'old,' it's outright negligence. The whole place felt like a cheap motel trying to masquerade as a hotel. Of course, it wasn't entirely without its merits. A few staff members at the front desk were genuinely warm and helpful, which was the only normal part of this stay. However, there were also other staff who looked utterly fed up the entire time, as if guests were an inconvenience. All in all, I deeply regret booking this hotel. I had planned to stay longer in Los Angeles, but in the end, I couldn't stand it and had to switch hotels last minute. My biggest mistake was booking seven nights upfront. Seriously, it's not worth the price at all.

This is a pretty good hotel. It's right by UCLA, so the surroundings are beautiful, safe, and pleasant. However, the hotel facilities are just average.

Excellent location with convenient parking. Got an upgrade to a suite.
