E Central Hotel Downtown Los Angeles Reviews

The room was quite spacious, with enough space to open our luggage. However, the surroundings were incredibly, unbelievably noisy! This is by far the loudest and most awful hotel environment I've ever stayed in. Often, around 1 or 2 AM (seriously?!), certain groups downstairs would play incredibly loud music and make phone calls. The front desk was completely unhelpful and seemed not to care at all. The front desk staff rotates; some were very mean, while others were okay. For such an expensive nightly rate and the extra taxes paid, the service simply doesn't live up to the price. Besides the entryway, the main bedroom area has no overhead light, only lamps. It's fine during the day, but it's too dim at night and strains the eyes.

My son and I went to a Lakers game, so we planned to stay overnight. I booked the room a little over a month ago. The pictures didn't do the room any justice. The view was pretty good. There was plenty of room for 2 people. The service we did have was great. We will definitely be staying in the hotel anytime we are in the area.

I stayed here to watch an NBA game at Crypto.com Arena, and it was a great choice because it's just a short walk away. This meant I didn't have to walk through downtown or take an Uber late at night after the game. It was a little confusing that the air conditioner control was on a remote near the entrance, not on the unit itself. There's no complimentary water, so you'll need to bring your own. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The experience was great (ie: proximity to venue)! The only downside is the overnight parking fee for guests of $66.00 per vehicle.

The hotel is in a lively area, which is really convenient. There's a mall about a 10-minute walk away, and it's also close to the exhibition center. I'd definitely recommend staying here. While the soundproofing isn't great, it didn't affect my sleep.

Great location, good value for money, everything was good except for breakfast. It took over an hour to get breakfast, so I recommend skipping it.

I needed a hotel close to the conference, and this one was perfectly within my budget.

Environment: Great Hygiene: Clean Service: Excellent Location: The hotel is in downtown Los Angeles, surrounded by a beautiful environment. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the BBQ at the Spanish hotel across the street is very nice.

Location was good across from the crypto.com but the whole building and the room stunk very strongly. We only stayed one night and they had a mandatory charge of $35 for us “for the wifi, coffee and other things the hotel provided”. We didn’t use any of the coffee etc and had to pay that fee. I couldn’t believe it. We stayed at three different hotels the last week and none of them charged me that except this one and this hotel was by far the worst one. There wasn’t even a pool and hot tub like all the other hotels we were at this week.

I chose this hotel specifically to watch the NBA. The Crypto.com Arena is right across the street, so it felt very safe walking back after the games at night. The elevators were full of people wearing Lakers jerseys, which really added to the atmosphere. Great value for money too!

This is the wrost hotel i have ever stayed No bottle water in the room no coffee no toothbrush nothing at all The bre is horribly bad i regret paying for breakfast in the hotel the. The receptionist is mannerless woman

It was pretty good, and convenient for getting around.

We had a great stay. The shower water pressure was awesome! Great location for food too.
