Our second time here, already booked our third! Such a wonderful hotel. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. It is a bit dated but mainly ‘older’ people stay here. I’m 38 and think I was the youngest there!! The rooms are functional. We always take a fire stick with us so we can watch Netflix/prime. Great internet for streaming. We upgraded to UP! It’s expensive but 100% worth the money! You get a better room included, a visit to the spa inc a massage, and a delicious fine dining meal. There’s three lifts on each side of the hotel. They sometimes take a while to come as they’re always in use but they’re clean and have always worked well. There’s a little shop across the road that sells everything you could possibly need. Housekeeping was amazing. They were so friendly and came everyday and changed your sheets whenever you wanted. The outdoor market is a few mins walk and is really good. It’s on Tuesday and Sundays 9-2. Food at this hotel was amazing! Best I’ve ever had in a hotel!

The hotel is very impressive upon arrival it looks like a marble paradise . The whole place is spotlessly clean and room service is spot on, with maids who leave your room immaculate. Pool and outside area is great and the pool is really warm, meaning you can get straight in without shivering unlike most. Rooms are good and all have sea views and beds provide sleep harmony. Food is outstanding and offers good choices especially in the evening and you will eat like a king during your visit. One thing was an issue, they charge for water for evening meal. I expect water , even just a glass to be included when I’ve paid for food in advance. That said the hotel does all they can to accommodate you and solve any issues. Entrainment could be improved with more day time fun by the pool side with some games as after water aerobics that’s it. Evening entertainment again is tribute bands, who were good but I prefer a disco or at least both. Entertainment staff member Virginia is good and a true professional. The hotel has a gym, the best one Ive ever seen in any hotel and they do classes. Overall this is a spectacular hotel with wow factor and out of this world food. Definitely a return for us without hesitation, well done Arona Gran

First time at the Arona Grand , first impressions was excellent with a seamless check in , was allocated room 449 , amazing sea and pool views , room was very good , great idea to have water dispenser on every floor . Food option at breakfast was amazing , food at dinner was so many options that sometimes it went cold but always something to enjoy , carvery was excellent every night My only negative was the bar service at night in the show bar , very slow as only one person taking orders for about 300 people, only managed to get 1 drink while the show was on , people was walking out and going to bars off hotel due to this . Over all a very good hotel and weather was excellent, we will definitely return

Lovely peaceful hotel. Excellent food options and everywhere is very clean. All staff are welcoming and friendly. Very comfy sunbeds and plenty of parasols and tables. Great position at the end of the bay. Lovely coastal walks right on your doorstep. Already booked for next year!

The Hotel the visit was our 9th. It just gets better and better we met a couple from Swanage who said it was a Happy Hotel and can understand why so many guests return. The Staff make the Hotel special you are treated by an excellent staff Arsenio (Restaurant) Esperanza , Carmen & Jessica to name but a few. Entertainment Jorge is infectious he never stops his pool work out is wonderful.

We have just returned from a relaxing week in the Arona Gran, What a wonderful hotel, we found it to be spotlessly clean with friendly accommodating staff, We went on a half board basis and the food was plentiful and good quality, One of the nice touches is the linen tablecloths and napkins at every meal, The Wi-Fi works as it should, and the front desk staff were gracious and very quick to summon a taxi, Our room was nothing special, but we were in it only to shower and sleep, The jewel in the crown is the UP roof terrace with two pools and a bar, It is private, uncrowded, relaxing and the views are spectacular, We will be back!

Lovely, adults only, hotel, great location in a quieter area of Los Christianos. Stunning reception arocation was ideal for bars, restaurants the local, twice a week, market next door and a supermarket righ across the road. There is a small beach out side but the larger, sandy beach is about 10-15 mins along the pastor. The staff, food and, age appropriate, entertainment were excellent. Great views towards La Gomera and the harbour. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

Returned Monday 3/9 for another holidays in this lovely welcoming hotel . Rooms have great views and hotel spotless ! Lovely to see familiar faces ( staff ) Bernice Anthony UP so helpful ! Nacho Bar area ( Great persona ) & being welcomed back by restaurant staff looking forward to our stay !

I’ve been here 4 times now and will keep coming back. This is an amazing hotel to have a relaxing holiday. We paid for the UP and it was so worth it for the all day buffet, inclusive drinks and infinity pools. No sunbed wars, you can wander to the UP anytime 10-6 when it’s open and get a sunbed. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is divine. Spa was very nice. Only criticisms are there’s no water fountain or access to drinking water in the spa, also the table service is very slow when watching the evening entertainment. Tried to go to the bar and was told it was table service only. The waiters are rushed off their feet so it’s definitely not their fault, management need to look at staffing levels.
