In the middle of our 10 day road tour from Santander to Le Havre we spent 2 nights at this magnificent chateau and wish we had stayed much longer. The chateau is set in extensive grounds with many interesting features The lounge/dining room is both huge and magnificent and our suite was similarly huge, beautifully furnished with a four poster bed, and comprehensively equipped. Breakfasts and table d’hote dinners were extensive, delicious and beautifully presented, including selected fine wines for each course of dinner. However, the main attraction for us of this exquisite property were our hosts, Francois and Dominique, who were absolutely charming and who clearly very much enjoy opening their home to travellers. So, very many thanks to them, and we much look forward to returning one day soon.

This is a most delightful place to stay. The building itself is very historic and is being meticulously renovated by the owners. They are absolutely charming and cannot do enough for you including coming to meet you when you get lost! The room felt like staying with friends who had a beautifully appointed room. Dinner was delicious and copious! I could not recommend this more.

We discovered this magnificent residence a few years ago on the occasion of a wedding at the Domaine de Lochereaux located a few minutes from the Bois Noblet. Pleasure renewed last weekend with great pleasure for a new wedding. Very friendly and warm welcome, like the last time by Mrs. and Mr. de Barbeyrac, owners of the place. 4 years ago we had a very beautiful room, this time, fulfilled, we had the royal suite ... huge room with period furniture, monumental fireplace and its magnificent four-poster bed. 2 very pleasant nights with breakfasts, in the large room, generous and gourmet, including a delicious fig jam from the garden. A delicate and attentive attention at all times from the owners will have contributed to the success of our family celebration stay. We will come back ... perhaps for a 3rd wedding !!
