The room is clean, but the locks on both the bathroom door and the main door have issues. The WiFi reception is weak. The room is located in a separate building outside the castle garden. The environment is quiet, and parking is available right in front of the house, which is very convenient. Breakfast is served inside the castle, where the setting is comfortable. Although the food selection is limited, the quality is excellent.

Didn't stay in the castle but in barracks at the bottom of the castle garden, it wasn't mentioned when we booked the stay

Ein wunderschönes kleines Chateau in einem ehrwürdigen Park mit vielen alten Bäumen. Unsere Unterkunft war im Garten in kleinen Chalets, gut ausgestattet, wenn auch vielleicht bald mal eine Renovierung anstehenden sollte. Wir haben uns aber wohl gefühlt. Das Abendessen haben wir im historischen Gewölbekeller im Château eingenommen. Dies war ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Hervorragende Speisen, ein sehr ansprechendes Menü und nicht zu vergessen, das überragende Filet de boeuf, Medium rare bestellt, war es optimal gegart und von überragender Qualität und exzellentem Geschmack. Auch die Weinauswahl ist bemerkenswert. Wir freuen uns, dien Ort kennengelernt zu haben und sprechen eine besondere Empfehlung aus.

Not where I was expecting to stay, but a very pleasant experience has been had. The back story - a car issue resulted in my assistance service arrange an hotel. And this is where they selected. Room I had is fine for most short stays, perhaps a little dated, and the stairs are a bit of a killer for me, but comfortable, clean, en-suite was pretty nice (wow that water pressure!). Breakfast is a simple continental buffet-style though missing the cold meats I've come to expect elsewhere. Pretty decent coffee. The restaurant - just WOW. At least that's my experience. A limited menu (no bad thing, though maybe a challenge for the Vegetarian or Vegan traveller). Will happily come back here, just next time with my car instead of it being sat in a workshop.

We wanted a one night stop and stayed in the cheaper park rooms. These were basically static caravans and felt a bit unsafe. The location of the chateau is very odd and is surrounded by what seems like social housing. The food at the restaurant was good but a little pricey all things considered. I wanted to avoid the IBIS in France as we had bad experiences with clenliness but it seems this wasnt much better. It might just be a france thing but I would stay at one of the B&Bs instead going forward if I want a cheap room for the night.

Great find. Got a last minute deal on the website. I stayed in the Chateau, room had a study area, great room comfortable bed & bathroom with bath. I had dinner downstairs & it was great (do ask for the menu of the day if not given as it's great). Definitely a great stop off on the way to Calais, unfortunately this time I did not explore as I was under time pressure, maybe next time.
