"I wouldn’t book this hotel in advance—the same-day rate was noticeably cheaper and still included breakfast. On arrival, the air-conditioning wasn’t cold. We called reception and a technician came about 30 minutes later and fixed it, though they entered the room wearing shoes, which I found unhygienic. The body wash dispenser was already empty, so we had to request a replacement. The biggest issue was a motion detector in the room with a bright red indicator light; it kept activating whenever we moved at night and woke us several times. Overall: good price if booked last-minute, but maintenance and sleep quality need improvement."

"Requested earlier check-in..no problem, got my email teeing me which unit, key in door. Arrived...couldn't find the unit. Walked around , 10 minutes great views, finally found it. First impression: very basic. Toilet had skid marks! Spiderwebs on walls, cut finger on e exposed staple on front door. Counter tops sticky and dirty. Dust clumps on floor. Plugged the iron in, bit of a spark at power point. Ironed, left for party at a winery. Returning about 11.00pm. 12.01am received map to find Where to find unit! Bed...clean and comfortable. No lights on bedhead worked. Power point was frizzled! Could smell that it had burned through. Pulling curtain closed, it fell! Dust and cobwebs! Air-conditioning off. Could hear people from every other unit. Eventually, a comfortable sleep. Shower head fell off as the water was turned on. Struggled for 20 minutes to reconnect it. Really needs an overhaul. Fresh paint, and a good clean. Sadly dissapointed."

"Loved this beautiful accommodation! The room was huge and extremely clean. The stone bathtub was to die for. It was the perfect little romantic getaway with my partner. Had gorgeous views over looking the lake. After our wine tour in the area we got to enjoy our purchases on the balcony with a cheeseboard with some ducks swimming through the lake. Very quiet and perfect for some R&R! Will definitely come again."

"I booked The Table as my guest house accommodation while attending a wedding in Polkobin (The Convent). I could not have been happier with my choice. Jo is an incredible host and chef and from the moment I arrived from Sydney later than planned to a smiling host, offer of a drink, a warm fire and 3 course meal. I knew I was in for a delightful weekend. The bed was so soft and cosy. The 3 course breakfast was incredible. Jo went out of her way to offer this busy mum the R&R she so very much needed, even dropping me at the wedding the following day, a good 25 minute drive away. Her adorable dog Harvey is an added bonus. This gem of a place feels like a warm hug. I will definitely be back - and am tempted to book out the whole place out (and Jo) with friends. Romantic, restful and cosy. Give this local business your business. You won't be disappointed. Tours, carriages, lunches and dinners were available on request with as much or as little conversation as you would like. Jo seems to know exactly what her guests need. "We stayed recently at the Bluebush Lodge for our team retreat, the venue was fantastic. Lauren and Gareth were so lovely to work with. The venue had large spacious rooms, most with ensuite bathrooms, large communal areas for eating, conferencing and relaxing. The outdoor facilities were also fantastic. The venue is in a quiet area, with a large spacious property overlooking the some beautiful scenery and local wildlife. Would highly recommend for large groups."
