"I had a wonderful stay at Little Warren. From the moment I arrived, the hosts Kevin and Joanne were so warm and welcoming – always happy to help and made me feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, freshly prepared and full of flavour, a perfect start to the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving me one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. Everything about my stay was relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Little Warren to anyone looking for a cosy and friendly place to stay – I’ll definitely be returning!"

"Visit to Whitehaven premier inn. I stayed in an accessible room with floor level shower. The room was clean and there was a fan in the room. A member of the reception team kindly escorted my daughter to my room when she had arrived to drop off something for me. Rather than just giving her a room key so she could gain access to the building and my room, they checked that she was who she had said and that I was happy for her to have access to the building. I thought this was very good service and felt safe at the hotel. My daughter was impressed also. At a different location on a previous stay my daughter had been given a door key to my room after asking for it. No checks were made to make sure she was known to me and that I was happy for her to be allowed entry so for the staff at Whitehaven Premier Inn to be so vigilant whilst staying professional, polite and friendly, I was very impressed and made to feel safe during my stay."

"I arrived on a stormy night in the lake district - on entering the hotel I was met with a warm glow from the log fire and a very warm welcome from the receptionist. As the hotel dining room was about to close, a room was sorted and the kitchen kept open for an evening meal - a delicious melt in the mouth steak was a pleasure after a 6 hour drive from the south of england, washed down with a welcome glass of Shiraz. The bed was very comfortable, the room had a large bath and separate shower cubicle and copious hot water. The decor and fittings were in sympathy with the age and history of the hotel, a pleasant change from the blandness of more modern mass market hotels. The staff were very friendly and it was a pleasure to be assisted without having to use automated impersonal systems. I will not hesitate to stay at the hotel again when I am next in the area."

"This B&B has a large lawn outside, and it feels like the original owner was a landowner. The rooms aren't large, but they're well-connected, and there's a restaurant on the first floor. It's about a 45-minute drive from the lake, though it's a long, mountainous drive. But for the price, that's about it."

"The room was average. The toilet didn't flush properly, and the water pressure was very low. The breakfast was decent, an English breakfast. The wait staff were very friendly. The hotel is relatively small, somewhat reminiscent of a B&B or family hotel."

"little far from city centre but just adjacent to the sea, very good for hiker as well. the sound proof is quite bad though, i can easily hear ppl walking on the room floor above......free parking also a merit!"

"Absolutely beautiful food, staff were amazing and so attentive, we weren't rushed at any point - would highly recommend. The chicken satay was outstanding as was all the food really. There was a birthday balloon on our table for my husband. Such a lovely touch. Keep up the good work "

"It’s a lovely spot with a fantastic view and a welcoming host. The breakfast was delicious, and the fireplace adds a cosy touch. Just keep in mind that being an older English house, it might not be as spotless as some other places."
