"The hotel is in a beautiful location right by the seafront with a lovely patio overlooking the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it felt like they genuinely cared. This included the reception staff, the bar staff and the staff serving the breakfast each morning. The food selection was varied and the hot cooked breakfast was of good quality. The room was clean and comfortable, a fan was provided during the hot weather. When we arrived late at night, the car park was already full, however we were allowed to park our large touring bike right in front of the hotel where it was safe and well lit. We will definitely come back."

"Another brillisnt stay at this Premier Inn. We booked 1 family room for the night during the February Half Term week. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was a great size and was spotless. Its great to have a good shower and comfy beds and to take time to relax. We opted to have the full breakfast the following morning where hot foid is cooked to order, reducing waste and being freshly cooked. Coffee was lovely too. We have stayed at the hotel many times and we know we will always have an enjoyable stay."

"A really good hotel with basic but spacious and comfortable rooms, most with good views across the broads. Offering decent food and drink choices on site, the evening meal was fulfilling if not exciting and the cooked breakfast was really, really good. Car parking (free) is readily available and the service received from all of the Wherry team was first class."

"If I could give this place a 0 I would.. I attended a wedding here on the 7/8/2026 with my family to witness my friends getting married the grounds are perfect with the gardens and watching wildlife.. The bridal party arrived the night before 6/8/2026 to find that we had been miss informed on more than one thing.. to then sit down at the restaurant for a meal where we ordered gammon egg and chips for 4 of us to be told they didn't have enough to cater us all so one of us had to choose something different when we received our food the eggs where still snotty and raw... The rooms we had bridal suit room 2 and room 3 were both out dated and in a heatwave you would expect some form or air supply like a fan both rooms have nothing the on suite bathroom the shower trickled with water not working properly... The following day we sat for breakfast and was only offered 3 options which one was a full English which only consisted of 1 sausage 1 half tomato small amount of mushrooms and scrambled egg which again was snotty and 2 rashes of bacon... We then continued with the wedding prep in the barn once finished headed to marquee for reception the staff in the marquee couldn't pour a pint and the coke cola came from a bottle that you would buy from a shop then charged £1.50 for a half pint and £3 for a pint while we where there staff had thrown away all items for decorating in to the bin from the barn when we was told by staff not to worry about clearing up as we could do it the next day before 11am... Staff had already let the next party into the venue to decorate at 6:30am... where our party decorations were shoved to one side of the room and damaged... The staff at park hill hotel were rude and kept telling our DJ to turn music down as it was blowing the electric in the marquee and the hotel... I would personally give this hotal a very wide birth and management needs to learn how to communicate with guest and book appropriately instead of over lapping guest for the money..."

Fascinating building packed with military memorabilia and outstanding decor. A truly unique location overlooking beautiful beaches and easily walkable picturesque promenades. Great parking and fully accessible. A true gem on the East Coast giving great value for money."

"We stayed for a family wedding and when booking the owners were so helpful, given that one family member had different requirements to the rest of us. They even told us that if you booked direct with themselves rather than one of the major booking sites breakfast would be included rather than paying a fee. On arrival there was parking directly outside and the inside and outside of the hotel is spotless and the decor in keeping with the age of the building. It’s so nice inside with a lounge, breakfast area, and an honestly bar. The decor is very homely. We ate a takeaway one evening and the owners provided us with plates etc. There is a self service area near the bedrooms with fresh water and housekeeping bits and pieces, great idea. The hotel itself is just across the road from the beach and about a ten minute walk from pubs. The room was immaculate with a very large en-suite bathroom with shower, tv and tea making facilities, toiletries and a hairdryer. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries and cereals to help yourself to and then the option of also ordering hot food. The owners are very friendly and have a chat and are always on hand for anything else you need. I can’t recommend this place enough and we will certainly visit again."

"Stayed 2 nights for a mid week break. The Mozart room is beautifully furnished and has an amazing sea view with a table and chairs in the bay window to sit with a nice cuppa and watch the world go by. We found on-street parking nearby at no cost. There is a large public car park just across the street but we didn’t want to pay for parking. We did not meet our hosts while we were there but Ann was very quick and helpful in responding to text messages. We booked a room only, apparently they no longer offer breakfast. I think my review would have been 5 stars if breakfast was available."
