The staff struggled with English, which made communication difficult. When I asked questions, their frequent response was, "I'm new, so I don't know," which was frustrating. It was very convenient that we could participate in alms-giving right in front of the hotel, but for breakfast, you have to go to a restaurant by the riverside. On the first morning, when I asked about the location, they told me, "It's the same restaurant as yesterday," and didn't seem to understand that it was my first breakfast there. Also, the room didn't have a refrigerator, so I wouldn't choose to stay here again in hot Laos.

Quite bad, really really bad. Their ability to resolve simple problems was even worse. I really don't appreciate ***** hairs on cups, now imagine their ability to resolve problems. Please try harder.

Excellent and clean. This wooden house was very comfortable to stay in, and the location was super convenient. It's right downstairs, making it easy to wake up before dawn to see the alms giving. Highly recommended!

This hotel is conveniently located near Wat Sene, making it super easy to catch the alms-giving ceremony. Our first-floor room was a bit noisy, but it was clean and bright, and the breakfast was decent.

At just over a hundred a night, this place offers great value for money. The decor has a lovely Southeast Asian vibe, and it's super convenient for getting to places like Foreigner Street. Breakfast by the Mekong River nearby is quite charming too.

Excellent, I loved it, highly recommended! Great value for money, the rooms are super clean, and it's very close to Wat Xieng Thong, making it convenient for viewing the alms giving in the morning. They also recommended a day trip itinerary and driver to us.

The hotel is a charming little villa. You can experience the morning alms giving right downstairs, starting at 6 AM, for 100,000 Lao kip. The room has a distinctive Lao vibe, very retro. The front desk staff's English was excellent, so communication was a breeze 👍. I had a great first night in Luang Prabang. For breakfast, the staff member took me to a spot by the Mekong River, where I guess all the guests from nearby hotels eat 🥣.

The location is perfect. The hotel is right in the city center, literally in the middle of everything. You can walk to restaurants, cafés, shops, bars, and other places around town. Everything is nearby, so you don’t even need to rent a motorbike. It’s also a great place to meet and interact with other foreigners while enjoying a nice walk around the city. As a couple visiting Vang Vieng, we’ve stayed here more than once, and we always choose this place. The hospitality is amazing. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, from the reception staff to the cleaners.

Highly recommended! This hotel is ideally located near Wat Xieng Thong, on a street between the 'foreigner's street' (main tourist area) and the Mekong River. It's perfectly situated for convenience, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle and the noise of the riverside road. You can even watch the alms giving ceremony right from the hotel, which is an amazing advantage. It's an old house, so don't expect many modern amenities, but it has a unique, simple charm and beautiful views. The balcony opens up to lush greenery, creating a very serene atmosphere. It's perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. If you're looking for Instagram-perfect photo ops, you might want to consider other places. Breakfast is a two-minute walk to a riverside restaurant, which is quite convenient. You can book a minivan to the high-speed rail station directly from the hotel; I haven't tried for the airport, but I assume that's an option too.
